hi sid,
ppl generally recommend TIME mocks because of the larger number of aspirants taking that test series...
level wise many of my friends who have got into IIMs this year have recommended CL mocks (on the basis of DI and VA content)...
it doesn't mean that the time mocks are a level less...
the thing is how much one can prune oneself from a test series...:-)

Even i am of the same opinion that CL gives you the best level of difficulty.
However TIME content wise is by far the most closest to CAT.
That is one of the reason why i am thinking of opting for both the Test series.

Count me in. I am planning CAT by 2009. Let us share our views and ideas. Let me know how many days of preparation will be required?

hey , what about IMS mock test. Is it inferior to others. here i find no discusson about that... i gave the first open SIMCAT and got 97 percentile. Only IMS center is near to my home.. should i join it , or still go for TIME... there is no CL here. I m in cochin .. kindly give ur views ..

IMS is good. But not up to the mark as they are usually experimenting a lot.

Moreover the solutions as far as VA is concerned are always ambiguous because of which not many opt for IMS.

Its always you choose the centre which is near to you by this way you will save a considerable amount of travelling time.
Moreover to some extent analysis of the mock cat is more important part, so wherever you take them if you are doing the analysis properly you are in the right path
If you are still not satisfied exchange papers with some of your TIME friends

i completely agree with Ravi,
time is the most important thing...
if you can analyze your mocks properly then it doesn't matter whether its TIME or CL or IMS...
also you can exchange the time & CL mocks just to have a fell of the questions which are being faced by fellow aspirants...
some ppl also upload it on esnips[dot]com...you can also get them there if you don't have any other option...

Hi pooja ,
since none knows about the level you are right now and also ur schedule for your day in work...what will be great is you should go through this thread right from the start not in a single day but very soon...n then u can make out some plan...i know it will be time consuming and will require some efforts but it will be worth doing that...

Regards,
Siddharth
