My name is Mahesh
I wrote MAT May09 and secured a Composite score of 682 with a percentile of 91.03.
I have Applied to Alliance Business School for MBA but i got a call letter saying to attend ABS Aptitute test on 19 June 2009 for Post Graduate Program.
I want to know how far is it good to do Post graduate program in Alliance Business School.
Kindly say me what is the differnce between Alliance Business School and Alliance Business Academy?
If they are different please guide me for applying MBA in the best of them.

hi every1, these are some the topics for oral presentation at ALLIANCE on 9 july--
1.Talent mangement is critical in company success.
2.Global warming.
3.Global markets.
4.Online social networking.
5.World is flat.
6.Controversial advertisements should be banned.
7.Employee relationship mangement.
8.Research and its importance.
9.Right to information act,citizen's charter.

The admission process is as follows--
1.an entrance test of gmat model for us it is 45 min for 35 questions-math is easy, language comph. are bit tough
2.then three min oral presentation-they look for ur ease and the ability to speak in front of people
3.a decent lunch and then Dean's adresal and then shortlisted candidates were caled for interview
4.Finally interview-panel of four or five members-ask u basic question.I think a decent prep should make it through..
Best of it--the campus, seniors(-were very interactive)

Are the Jan admissions for ABA or ABS..??? And if its a common admission process then how do we decode upon ABA or ABS, or simply does any on e of the has a priority based on the marks in MAT.
And the website says admissions will have 2 cycles..,,does this imply smething or just a nrnl admission procedure repeated twice...???

Can anyone throw some light on Alliance Business School's January Intake..??

Mainly I want to know about the following things:
1. How much does AICTE recogn. matter. As in ABS is Accredited by IACBE. Will Tis accrediation be accepted in India.
2. Damn Obvious question - Placements
3. There are only 3-4 colleges in India which has Jan Intake. Does Jan Intake have any impact wrt placements and who will be preferred more by the recruiters, Jan intake or the usual Jul/Aug intake students.
4. Does the Jan intake batch have any alumini base..??

Im plannin to apply for Jan Intake. Kindly help me out.

I am interested in Alliance will be giving Dec MAT 2009....what will be the expected cut off and do i have to appear for another exam at Alliance if i will be called on the basis of MAT DEC score.
