HI Piyush,
I called up Alliance a fortnight back regarding vacancies for PGP course they replied in positive telling that there will be test n interview on june 6th...below is my profile

Feb Mat :87.02 percentile n english comprehension 98.40 percentile
10 th class :60.80 %
12 th class :80.60 %
B.Com(Hons):63.10 %
Work Ex :1.5 Years


1.I sent all the requiered documents that were listed on website through post to alliance, do we need to get a copy of all the documents again for the interview?
2. I have even sent a copy of my professional CV,will this suffice or do i need to prepare a seperate CV as shown by you in the previous posts?
3. Please give me a checklist of documents and any other imp things I should be having with me on the day of my interview.
4.I have read all the posts on this thread from page 1...could you give me some more questions that are asked in the interview (as there are only a few listed on this thread unlike topics for ex-tempore)
5.How much weightage is given for work ex ?
6.After getting selected in Alliance within what duration or By which date should I be pay the first installment of 2.5 lakhs?
7.Have you volunteered to be there on june 6th too?
8.How many seats are left in the PGP course?
9.seeing my profile what are the chances of me getting into ABS on a scale of 10?

hi ... i got admittted to d pgp course by interviews on 26th of april , so cn tell u dat considering ur profile n ur wrk ex , u hav bright chances of gttng into ABA, bt it wud also depend on how u perform in d extempore...for d extempore u wil get general topics ..my topic was .... WHY BE A GOOD PERSON ? ....in our round of interviews out of 500 ppl only 180 were selectd for a second pi round, so u cn expect good cmptn. we were given approx. 25 days to submit d first installment. bt had to pay d registration amnt of 25,000 d same day !!!!! d most imp . document to b carried is d c.v. STRICTLY IN D FORMAT GIVEN .... other den 10th, 12th, grad ., deegree score cards n wrk ex proof r required !!!

Well here you are..
Yes you should carry a photocopy of your documents.

You need to prepare a CV on the guidelines provided by the college.

You should carry photocopy of your marksheets, work ex, extra curriculars and MAT score card

In the interview you may be asked anything, it depends on the who interviews you, general questions are Why Alliance, Why MBA, Your short term and long term goals..

Work experience is given enough weightage, but at the same time you need to smart as well as conceptually strong

After getting selected you will get roughly one month to pay up the first installment

Nope i have not volunteered for that day as we have semester exams


I am not sure about the number of seats, but they are very limited


Dude i cant just rate you on a scale of 10 , your profile is good, but it all depends on how you perform on the D day..

in case u dnt knw nethng abt d topic selected...... u cn pick up another topic ....bt in dat case u wil hav to speak on d second topic only ..u cn nt revert bck to d first one .....

u cn nt take help of neone sttng arnd u or ur frens ....

to prepare for d presentation , wen d person before u starts speaking u wil get to pick ur topic, as each person is given three mnts to speak u wil get three mnts to prepare n obviously three mnts to speak ......

n yes , d cv foramt is d same as cn b seen in ur post ......

regarding d form no. query, i think u shud contact d admisions office ........

do nt wrry at all abt d process, n seniors out thr are vryyyy helpful, in case u get stuck somewhr , dey wud readily help u ....
