Yes you can only select PGP course now.
50% weightage has already been given to your profile and academics.
For the remaining 50% you will be grilled on the day of the selection process.

It is definitely a great course, no doubts bout that. For more info check out the previous posts in this thread, and with the new campus coming up PGP is gonna rock and also Alliance is gonna be a university in a year

sorry to ask you the same type of questions....
i have recieved a latter in which they have write there is only test(GMAT type), then extempore, then ellimination, then pi..........
no GD no case study write?????????????
can you tell me which station is nearer to ABA CANTT or CITY and how many kilometers.......

Well there will be NO GD.
City station will be nearer to Alliance (approx 9 kms)

hey dude sorry for this post but please refer to the previous post before posting this i myself have taken admission for pgp and one thing surprises me that why the aspirants r drawing a line between the two courses.
mba is a degree recognised by aicte
pgp is the flagship programe affiliated to IACBE

Both the courses r good and the placements is common as the students sit together for placements
Alliance is ready with the new campus for pgp and so chill it is a great course ultimately you r under the shed of alliance

i m in the final semester of IT in nirma univ. ahmedabad
i hv heared that alliance prefers experienced rather than fresher
is it true??
i m thinking to apply for PGDM course.. is it worth?

The mandatory disclosure for the MBA program on the alliance business academy site says following about the weightage given during the selection procedure:

X and XII standards: 10%
GRADUATION: 40%
ADMISSION TEST: 40%
Presentation: 10%(judged by experts)
Interview: NIL

Does it hold true for selection for PGPM course also.. since now all selections would be for that course only?

In the admission section for Postgraduate Programs in Management, it also says that 'Due weight will be given to candidates with relevant post-education work experience' but this is not mentioned in the mandatory disclosure?

Ya most of it does hold true. But it slightly defers in the case of PGP.
And of course Experience is given weightage.

Ya preference is given to people with work ex.
And YES PGP IS A WORTHY COURSE.

Hi Bharghav.. yes the PGPM course is great choice.. i had absolutely no hesitation in joinin the course...
secondly, if u perform well ALLIANCE will take u in... i too had no previous work experience.. u jus hav to prove to them tht u hav the potential..
