Seniors have a query...
I think mentioned by Varun jindal tht SP gave around 1200 smthing calls in total last yr.
Can you ppl gv a breakup of the calls given last yr in the 1st and the 2nd list and the conversion % in both the lists..... Also was it like... the no. of calls in 2nd list depend on the performane and likelyhood of the 1st list calls getters of converting a call.......
I know am asking too much of detail but was thinking tht if SP already gave 1200+ calls only this time in the 1st list.. then what cud be the road ahead....
Anyways dint get a call in the 1st list.. not expecting much in CAT too..... looking fwd for XAT.. but then the no. of calls in the 1st list is worrying me a bit....
Season starting with not so good things... IIFT missed out by 2 marks.. screwd JMET and now SP...

I have got a call from spjain for marketing. I have the same doubts as pranav.

1) What is group interview? How does it work ?
2) Is there no GD?
3) Is GI an elimination round?
4) The second round is again an interview. Is this personal interview?

Also it would be great if people could share their last year interview experiences.

hey Abhinav and Prasanna...cud u plz tell me if this list was made keeping the GMAT scores in mind for those who had submitted their GMAT scores or will the GMAT scores be considered for the second shortlist when the CAT/XAT percentiles will be out??

The second list that takes into account your CAT/XAT/GMAT scores will be released after the XAT results are declared.

What kind of documents do we need to carry? For instance, with respect to work profile etc. Do we need letters of recommendation?

Given tht SPJ is giving a choice of date and slot to the candidate...and the entire process being phased out for 2 months, it is logistically infeasible to conduct intws across the country

But on SPJAIN website, it is clearly stated that Interviews(shortlisting) after CAT/XAT scores will be held at other locations also. SPJIMR - SP Jain Institute of Management & Research, Mumbai
