i noticed that in all the GIs people r asked to 'introduce themselves' which kicks off the discussion. what exactly are we supposed to say when we r asked to speak about ourselves or introduce ourselves ? considering we would be allowed to go one for about 2 mins n the questions would follow from there on, what would make a good introduction ?

seniors..please suggest.

I am also a fellow SPJ aspirant like u...(first shortlist) and we too were asked this age-old question.. My suggestion would be to display your strengths and USP in those critical 2 min that decide the future course of action of your interview. Highlight some points or cite some examples on which you can extend a good discussion and also demonstrate the qualities they are looking in for an MBA aspirant of SPJ... a gud human being, great team player etc etc... SO ATB and have a great interview ahead.. and as everyone says... "Be Yourself"...

Hello Seniors ,

I have received a call from SPJ . I have even submitted the Profile sheet and got a acknowledgement . But I have a couple of concerns . Please help me answer them .

1) I am an international applicant currently based in the US .I have already written to Adcom but never received any replies about what processes (like telephonic interview)need to be followed for International applicants.

2) When I log in the website to select my slot for interview . It still shows you are not selected for the interview .

please help me sort the discrepancies .
