more important is when the institute has been running the course w/o aicte approval y then all of a sudden does it feel the need to get one now ? and where does it leave the students pursuing the course ?

As far as i know, AICTE doesn't give approval for courses which are conducted with a foreign insti collaboration. (Somebody correct me if i m wrong)

Many world class courses are conducted in India without AICTE approval..(ISBs MBA, GLIM and many MS degree offered in collaboration with US universities)..so i guess this should not be a concern and the placements should also not be affected cause this...

ALL THE VERY BEST FOR PPL WHO HAVE THEIR INTERVIEWS STARTING FROM TOMORROW FOR THE NEXT 3 DAYS..

if that is the case, y does the site state that these people are waiting for aicte approval...

I'm trying for next year..And so score of GMAT taken in 2008 will be considered,right?...Can you shed some light on why there aren't people trying to app SPJain thru GMAT...thnks

You'll get details of the interview dates once the second list is released. Interviews will be spread over the month of March, similar to the way it happened in Jan and Feb. Why don't you wait for 3-4 days and then book your tickets? I know that the tickets keep getting costlier every day but then it's better than speculating and booking wrong tickets.

I am also facing exactly the same problem as I have my IIT B interview on 2nd March
Also I have my XLRI interview on 5th march in Delhi
I am expecting a call from SP JAIN with good acads and XAT score 99.5 and work ex(1.5 years)
I am already travelling to Mumbai twice for IIT B and NMIMS(20th Feb)
I read on the website that second round interviews will be held in other cities as well
Is there a chance of interviews of interviews happening in Delhi?
Or any chance of interview in late feb?

this is what i read on website

" Interviews before the declaration of CAT results will be held in Mumbai only. Interviews after the CAT results will be held at other locations too, which will be announced shortly"

we had to choose our preffered interview centre at the time of applying......

i dont remember what the options were
but we were surely asked to choose

Sorry to disappoint you, but:

1. There are very little chances of interviews happening outside Mumbai. As per current plans, all interviews will be held in Mumbai only. We'll keep you guys updated if there are changes to this plan.
   
   
2. Interviews for the candidates in second list will not start before March. We need to finish interviewing the first list candidates in February.
