On the second page.. where they need percentages for 10th, 12th etc..
they have given separate boxes for value before and after the percent.

Don't get the logic of rounding off though.. Are they expecting very few applications..!!

dat is what i am saying.. they should redesign the registration form keeping all the aspects in mind ..
rounding of 10th and 12th does not make much difference ..and of cat ...well the whole story could change .. but the option in the form are otherwise ..
anyways as u said they better know wat they are doing ...

May be IIMS have put a site for testing purpose and to know apirant's view on this. And registration date have been put for testing only and they will update the site once results are out and logical date will be given.
Aspirants wil be able to login\register only if they get a call from IIMS which will be put on any IIMs site

The link was given in the nation-wide notification in Hindu.
Hence, testing should be out of question.

Also, how does one get a call from IIM-S without applying to it..!

may be CAT 2007 on November 18, 2007 was a mock test because IIM-S was not finalised till then and they will conduct another CAT..(FINAL) IN FEB....

Good thread... Separate thread is really useful.. CAT results should be out soon so that we can apply to IIM-S or RGIIM.

Results (Score cards) won't be out before 8th January. Reason -

Score cards will be out on all IIM sites on the same day. IIMA hasd categorically mentioned 8th January to be that date. So, there is no need to speculate about this.

Would love to get an early result, but that will not happen.

Regarding that post about result being leaked, there were quite a few contradictions -

1. 92+, 94+, 98+ in sections, and 96.83 overall is not possible. Someone with such sectionals must get >= 97.5%ile overall.

2. DI - 37 marks = 94.xx %ile? Impossible.

3. The guy said that he had checked the result on the site. But didn't post the link immediately.

4. That day was 21st December (Famous day in history of pg due to result leak of CAT 2004 on same date).

This has been discussed multiple times before. The link has also been posted quite a few times.

IIMB result can well be out on 2nd January (Shortlist for IIMB). Generally, shortlists come before score cards, so there is a distinct possibility of this happening. But, score cards will be out on 8th January only.
