Coming rather late in th thread, but anyway.
I am hoping this is a 'BIG' misconception around RGIIM. As far as I remember, IIM-I when it started off, had its first few placement seasons combined with one of the bigger IIMs like A,B,C. so if the same happens with RGIIM, and it gets aligned with one of the big three, then hypothetically speaking, one may have a better shot at the big league.
but i do agree with the other points mentioned in a previous thread, about infra, dearth of faculty, no alumni. but then, like the sensex, that is based on future speculation rather than present logic, i willing to back rgiim brand being up there with the rest of iims within 5-7 years.
