Hey guys,

Considering IIM shillong will have only 60 seats this year, maximum calls it may give is 1200 (1:20 which is a lot) since other IIM's follow a ratio of approx. 1:5 - 1:6.

Even if thr r 1200 calls, you think the percentile would fall below 98?? There would be 4800 students above 98 %ile !!

i guess 1:20 is too big a ratio..
iim a has this time a ratio of around 1:3,while iim-c has 1:3.5,so even if we assume that iim-s will have a greater ratio,1:20 looks improbable
may be 1:10 will do,as there might be some who get final call letters from other iims and they would join those instead, while a few would not like to join iim-s when it comes to taking a final decision...well thats my personal take on how things would be like..
anyways any idea if 99.40%ile(with more than 91%ile in each section) would compensate for the lack of work exp,and be good enuf to get atleast gd call from iim-s??i pray that iim call getters leave iim-s for non call getters people like me

tough times don't last long, tough people do..
