The source for the "personal experience of mothering and motherhood ...." parajumble is "Is This What Motherhood is All About?" by "Tina Miller" which can be accessed here and from here we can conclude that the correct link between DBC and DCB is DBC.

hi ppl,

Solved the paper just for kicks. I have a doubt in the parajumble question where there was some mention of Maize and beans and all.(QN:72, SET 444)
I was confused between CBDE & CBED.

Now if U carefully read B's last line, it says "The maize grew up higher than Ur head as U walked on the narrow hard-trampled footpaths in between tall green rustling regiments."
D says
"Kikuyu also grows sweet potatoes.."

And E says " the beans ripened in the fields are gathered by the women..."
I think that the statement B should follow E and NOT D, as other coachings predict (PT says I am correct here).

I also think that the adjective 'Beans' would be more in line with Maize, than with Sweet potato!


It doesn't bother me which is correct and which is not...Coz it has been an year since I haf been outta race. but still would want to haf a healthy discussion over the same!

I completely agree with U JLT, cent percent!! :-)

It cannot be anything besides 5. Coaching ppl directly take the source and print the answers, without giving a damn abt what should precede logically. We don't know the entire passage, just the paragraph. the interpretations vary according to the amount of info given, and students must be judged on the interpretation arising out of the info given to them only!!
