CL has confirmed that qs 33 of set 444 (50% males walla sum) is errata.

I too got that set, and spent some time wondering how this were possible. Yet another poor showing from the IIMs. One would have expected better after last year's debacle.

IMS and Tenaday say its 4500 but TIME says its option 2500..

No ther is no errata in that question 33(set 444)...

and i gt answer as 2.

352 total vegetarians..in secondary.....and 50% are males...so M(Vegetarians)= 176, F(NV)=176..now total males in seconday section is: 288...so M(NV)=112, F(NV)=TOTAL FEMALES-F(NV)=176...therfore choice 2 is correct...ims has given wrong answer for this (3)

look,the qn says 'in the secondary section,50% of the students are vegetarian males',not '50% of vegetarians are male', atleast in my set,111.

yar its nt possible that 50% of students are vegetarian males...so it has to be interpreted as" 50% of vegetarians are male"..i interpreted it like this..and gt the amswer which is 2...which i think is correct......

it is case of logical inconsistency. When we can calculate that there are 45% males in Secondary section than how can there be 50% of total students who are vegetarian males...?

agree...but i interpreted it as ...50% of vegetarian are males in secondary section..which does levales to a solution 2...as explained above....and i am damn sure.....2 is the rite answer.....
