Please make use of this thread for discussing the CAT 2007 paper as a whole.. i.e. the overall picture.. A relevant poll for the scores shall be put up when the answer keys of at least 3 to 4 leading institutes (preferably, TIME, IMS and CL/CF) are known.. I would sincerely request u all to vote responsibly, preferably taking average of the scores obtained from the 3-4 keys, as the poll above would serve as a fair benchmark for one and all till the results are officially out.. you may post your scores as per various keys in the thread, but polling the average is desirable.. Another issue is, the poll options would deliberately be made wider than that in mocks in order to cater to larger strata of CAT takers, and get a fair and realistic normal distribution curve.. So here we go.. ATB, Puys! A humble request: Help us all maintain the sanctity of this thread - please avoid posting pre-CAT comments and feelers, wishes, speculations et al.. Personally i found that the paper was slightly on the tougher side.
Maths was average.
DI was easy.
English was difficult. Blog| Mocks 2007 Season Converts - NITIE SCMHRD, NMIMS, IMT -G (PGDM-FT), VGSOM , NIRMA, XIMB , SIBM (PUNE), FORE,MDI PGPM / PGPIM XLRI (PMIR) , SJSOM My view on the quota issue NITIE 2008 - 10

it was on the lines of last years paper....verbal was of the same difficulty level.quants was moderately doable and DI was easier then expected....overall cut of should be similar to last year.there were a lot of analytical questions in quants! like one involving choosin the best investment strategy.i found the RC passages very ambigiuos...a coupla DI sets were sitters, like the one involving aj plane route and veg/nonveg students...i hope many missed those.... | | | | | The Following 2 Users Say NO Thank You to guyfawkes For This Un-useful Post: | | | | | |
