thanks man..Actually they have corrected the questions in the analysis.. i dont know if it was just a good day for me but the cutoffs defintely seem low... DI was really an easy section..

It says add or reduce 5 marks.. again a mistake! would u believe that.. both 2 mark questions actually.. so it should be + or - 2.5..

Yeah, even i feel the cut-offs are quite low. Especially the Sectionals.

And plus, DI was far too easy. I think they are simply using the DI questions they might have developed last year or probably two years back. I really doubt if we'll be having such easy observation based DI. (Coz if yes, then it'll be a virtual bloodbath ).

I presume u meant Q10 there . Anyway, this increases my rather modest score by 5 marks in VA .

PS: The keys for CD-10 have also been changed:

Q1: Answer option 4 is correct.
Q44: Answer option 1 is correct

good score ankit.even if sectional mentioned slighltly low, i think overall 105+ is ok.deep, till 2005 we got caselets those were observation based.we should identify them correctly.u remember, caselet on communication skills Workshop,, commitment in month of jan feb march?that caselet in 2005 was observation basd only.last year, 2006, average marks in five group, was some what observation based.so we get observation based caselets.practice practice, and prepared for every type of paper.once again, congrats ankit!

will go for cd8 after some time,
ankit if u get time then write the test at the centre, u may get ranking and will get the real experience of the test.

Hi.. Gave CD-9 today... QA: 36 DI : 39.5 VA: 46.5 (if Ans to Q. 15 is 2) else 41.5 OA: 122 OR 117 One doubt in Q. 15... I feel that correct option should be 2.), as even in answer key they have mentioned that answer could be found from Para 1, in which it seems there is no reference for option 3. What do you think Puys ??

Analysis for CD-9 is already there... I think you misread CD-9 as CD-8 in my post.. Anyways Dude... what do you think about Q. 15 in CD-9.. ?? It seems that everybody is fine with the solution provided.. but I still do not get it

I marked answer option 4 . which is both '2' and '3'. And IMO, that should be the answer coz the passage hints towards both -

Show that even wordsworth believed poetry had a greater function to perform - Para 1 lines 4 & 5.

Show the similarity of thought between that and Peocock's essay
- Para 2 Line 14 - "The answer to the question....."
