Hi,

I'm a CAT'08 aspirant..although i've given CAT this year w/o any preparation...could say a wild attempt.
To start it would be helpful if you could suggest some basic books and a rough schedule of the study hours and chapters to start off with.I'm planning to follow the IMS Correspondence course and am giving a preliminary test this sunday.

as far as i can see it the classes u join or the course u choose to take wont make much of a diff in ur prep. yes they will give ya guidelines to work on and a proper mode of approach to the studies but in the end its ur skills n hard work which will work for u.

if correspondence seems good for u then go ahead. if u think u need classroom studies wid more attention then opt for dat. it finally depends on how much time u can devote to dat as in balancing ur studies n work n all.

as for me i have joined PT for their classroom coaching.

all the best
