Hindu is a tough paper to read for the common man..the main poitn why we are asked to read Hindu is to increase our speed and vocabulary by reading the tough passages. It also increases your GK and the editorials are must and should read religiously.I must say, i have read many newspapers in english in india, the HIndu has one of the best editorial pages i have gone through the even though the rest of the news sections is bit difficult to read. The edition doesn't matter Akanksha.

as far as i know the editorial part remains the same all over india , only the regional news would vary . And its has its head office in chennai .

i just read the 2 sheets of the editorial , it take around 30 mins for me .

how about others , how long u guys take to finish the editorial .

ya..i take half an hour....will take more time to check if i come across words i dont know....believe the the editorials of hindu is really good..you wont good such details from ordinary magazines like india today, outlook...indian express is fun to read..its easy english....but we shud try to comprehend tough english...get used to it...and the editiorials in indian express is one page i avoided in indian express cos they werent good....the sunday express is better....
