hai shankey..
you are right ...we can do many things ...but forming such groups is really 'the challenge' thing ...even we can have study plans so that our discussions and doubt clarifications will be easy and efficient...
Anyhow...count on me if such groups are formed....

i m sorry for going a bit of-topic here, but as i and many other puys have joined this thread late, so thought the following is important for all the late joinees n me also

read a number of posts.... n wt i cn infer is the following buks are worth to be done for CAT...

1. Quantitative aptitude for CAT- arun sharma
2.TWI - venkataraman
3. Arihant Quantum CAT - Mr. Sarvesh kumar verma

there are few more buks by writers nishint k sinha, abhijeet guha

for DI, there is only one book...
how to prepare for data interpretation for CAT- Arun sharma
(but it will not help u much ??

as i m a starter ,i looked for the must read novels for starters, i found the following two:
1. snapshots from hell- the making of mba
2. the world is flat

i have tried to summarise and post the names of the books at one place. For now i m goin to buy the arun sharma quant book n TWI... i hope i have selected the right books.

P.S. i am an aspirant,, so i expect reply from the seniors here,,all the above mentioned buks are ok or not?do i have selected right books or not? did i miss something?

gr8 Shankey!!
Nice idea,I wish to prepare Rcs ,grammer, sentence correction ..... any damm thing in English now because this section I feel If i lose marks certainly will affect my "Goal".
So lets make a group or rather a good strategy which will direct our efforts atleast in case of English!
we will begin with Rcs ...because i find it tricky i mean i dont want to make mistake in this section where u hav everything in front of u and .....
Anyways my vocab nt that good too only m afraid of Rcs and comfortable with difficult words somehow.hihihihi,i can manage without good vocabs but surely cant survieve without Good comprehension ..so
Lets plan for a GROUP for RCs!!!!
U can further guide for activities and strategies for that.

read a number of posts.... n wt i cn infer is the following buks are worth to be done for CAT...

First finish any tution material ( time/IMS ), then go for arun sharma quant .
1. Quantitative aptitude for CAT- arun sharma
2.TWI - venkataraman - no need ( after arun sharma - work pon mock cats )
3. Arihant Quantum CAT - Mr. Sarvesh kumar verma ( no need )

there are few more buks by writers nishint k sinha, abhijeet guha (no need )

for DI, there is only one book...
how to prepare for data interpretation for CAT- Arun sharma( but previous years time mock cats are the best for DI. they have given all sorts of problems and more importantly work on ur speed from now itself, that would be of great help )
(but it will not help u much ??

as i m a starter ,i looked for the must read novels for starters, i found the following two:if u are not used to reading books , i would suggest u to first read some self help books ,as that would be very simple to grasp and will also be helpful and simultaneously read some magazines . after a month or start reading the heavy stuff.
Dont miss on the hindu editorials .

At present i am reading " its not about my bike_ my journey back to life - Lance Amstrong.
1. snapshots from hell- the making of mba(
2. the world is flat
if u have the soft copy please put it in this thread of the above mentioned books.

i have tried to summarise and post the names of the books at one place. For now i m goin to buy the arun sharma quant book n TWI... i hope i have selected the right books.

P.S. i am an aspirant,, so i expect reply from the seniors here,,all the above mentioned buks are ok or not?do i have selected right books or not? did i miss something?
hope this was useful.
The above comments are my personal views , u can edit it to suit ur requirements.
