I guess the affidavit needs to be sent at the time of form submission.. u can call them up and ask.. and u hv to send photocopy of CAT admit card.. since it's not been recd yet.. u can call tem up...

last time my frend took the online admit card's print out and attached a letter statin tat it's not been recd yet..

the best thing is to call them up.. in case no body picks up ten to be on d safer side, send the affidavit now.. and also online copy of CAT admit card with a letter stating admit card not recd yet..

and prepare well for CAT.. ye sab to chalta rehta hai

CAT - IIM 2008 - Application Status

This is the process if you have not recieved your admit card

Your admit card has been/is being dispatched. If you do not receive your admit by October 31st 2008 then please do the following:

Get a printout from our website of the information displayed pertaining to you, i.e., your Name, Test registration #, Application #, Venue Address.

On November 15th (Saturday), 2008 show up at the test venue (the same as given in the printout in 1.) between 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.

To the test venue, bring with you the printout obtained in 1, two passport size photographs, and at least one identification proof (passport or driving license, College ID) .

Upon producing all the necessary items listed in 3., you will be issued a Duplicate Admit Card which will allow you to take the test on November 16th, at the same venue.

Do not call or approach the Admissions office earlier than November 15th, as the Duplicate Admit Card will not be issued before this date. Further, the Duplicate Admit Card will only be issued at the venue specified in the printout obtained in 1.

Finally, make sure you get your Duplicate Admit Card on November 15th itself at the venue. Duplicate Admit Cards will not be issued on November 16th, the morning of the test.

Hey Puys m a bit confused...

Do we need to have a certificate for each n everythin what we write in the form???
I mean so they ask for certificates and proof for wat all we write in the Form(Apart from Academics, awards n prizes)..

Need to fill couple of things...not exaggeration but been there done that types..But I don't have any certificate or any written proof for that apart from my experience...:innocent:

Any Suggestions???:bigups:

it generally varies from college to college... some colleges varify stuff others dont

in general the verification of extra carriculars os not strict, but most of them should be verifiable. In general what ppl do is they take a letter certifing all the achivements for a college authority, this letter works as a certificate

For Qaunts am going through Arun Sharma now.Is it enough to go through this book apart from TIME materials?

For VA and DI what are all the books and materials that are apt for CAT?

for 2009 the classes n materials start in jan..and material i guess u can take anytime from jan..the test n MCQ i ugess will start coming in from june..till then u will get Basic reference material probably
