It's not yet declared by the IIM's, but its highly likely that it may go online. Anyways it would go online for everyone, so no special tension. I see many people being extremely anxious and fear of CAT going online.

All the best!

Hi Everyone,

I would like to put forward a question from my friend :

If someone gets a Percentile of 95 around but English Score is "0" m, will good b-schools give him a chance?

He plans to leave English and just attempt Maths and Di for 3 hrs.

PLease reply quickly if any one has any info .............................

Most of the good B-schools have some sectional cutoffs.... atleast above 50 %ile. Don't think your friend can get more than 50 %ile with a score of 0, irrespective of the difficulty of the Eng section. In CAT 2007, a score of 0 in Eng was 14.xx %ile. So I don't think there's any point in leaving English totally. Yes, if he wants, he can assign lesser time to it comparatively but atleast he should get a %ile of more than 75 in Eng and an overall of 97+ if he really wants to get in a good B-school

correct..... u have to score only once in the range of 99..... and that one score should come on the Cday-16th Nov. cozz tht is the only score which matters the most. And trust me if u think that you cannot get thru iim's u never will......u can take my words , cozz this is my second time. The first time i had screwed up all because of fear/non-performance in mocks/low self-esteem generated from mocks ........The paper was pretty easy and could've been cracked.
