Mocks season has started and many are down n out in initial count. I met few aspirants today and they were scared.. who wouldn't be. I remember how i was fretting and trembling last year and one of the threads pepped me up in last moment courtesy harsharocks .
I hope this will raise the spirits of the people here as it did mine
these are the mock cat records of IIM converters of 2006 couldn't find 2007 n 2008 as very few posters were there

hello friends!!!!
aaj I heard something I never heard before.... that IIMs give scholarship to some students with very high %ile.......... 
But I was wondering all those who get call from IIM obviusly hav high %ile to ye scholarship kahan se aaya?????
Anybody knw anythng abt this thng?????????

Whomever you heard it from, I think you mistook percentage (or GPA) for percentile. Most of the colleges have the system of awarding scholarships based on your GPA (mine included), term-wise or year wise, depending on the college's policies.
I don't think a college of the status of an IIM would be giving out scholarships based on percentiles; it may be the case with some lower grade colleges who wish to attract people with higher %iles.
Basically, once you get in a B-school, the percentiles don't matter at all. It's about how you perform there (and it's not all about GPA as well )

hi people. hopin for a quick response, i'l get straight down to my query: have just completed my 4years graduation in medicine field (rehabilitation therapy) & have got 3jobs in hand right now. but all the 3 jobs are from 9-6 & very demanding, that is to say, even once i get back home, i'l probably have to spend sum tym on my assignments, regarding my job. hence, i'l have to really stretch it real hard, if i am preparin for CAT. jobs start in july. if i sit idle, i'l atleast get tym to make it till the interview...but if i go for a job, i might not stand a chance to clear the written itself. will 'sittin idle' hamper my chances in the interview? (special consideration to the fact that i am from medicine field)....Besides, would a job , or a research project be a better option?

Hi,
The classes are conducted in COEP(shivajinagar),pune on each saturday morning from 8:30 a.m.Byju will be taking 24 hrs session on 3 sundays before 15th aug,08 where he is going 2 be physically present.He has already conducted one session.Next one is on 29th June,08. 56 hrs of problem solving session will be online i.e. you will see everything on screen but he is not going 2 be physically present.The fee is 7000/- and he is really good. The already conducted session may be repeated.

but to the best of my knowledge what you have heard is totally true
there is a scholarship named ADITYA BIRLA SCHOLARSHIP which is given to the best students getting admissions......

can any one tel me if its possible to attend mocks of CL nd TIME on d same day....m working nd hav got myself enrolled into CL weekend classes ...three monce ago....but now i want TIME tests also....so plz help...wont the timings clash for the two institutes?:huh:
