Joinin Test Series is not an issue as u can shift ur center anytime...as most of the national level coachin instis have centers all over India....
And have TCS already given u a joinin date if yes then its good...n if not then dun count on them n work hard for CAT....

my friends in IMS and Time used to give tests in various cities....
that never is a problem....

dude its never too late for getting started with your preparations and then you can add as many reasons as you want for not preparing for cat. get started with your preparations right away get in touch with coaching institutes they will tell you how you can continue your tests wherever you go as far as I know my frind did the same last year got his center transfered in between from bhuwaneshwar to delhi hope it heps you.

Guys I have a small doubt.....im preparing for CAT 08...ive completed my btech in may 08 and got placed in wipro...i dinnt receive the DOJ yet but the bond period is 15 months....im expecting the DOJ around september...so my doubt is that is there a possibility of using my score in CAT-08 for the next year admissions?? (with the CAT-2009 batch)....as dumb it may sound, i need to know if its possible or not !!!!

Hi @kashyap4

The CAT score is valid only for 1 year unlike GMAT for which the score is valid up to 5 years

So if you are targeting 2010-2012 batch, then in that case you need to appear for CAT'09

no buddy,
cat scores are valid only for an year...unlike gmat whose scores are valid for i suppose 5 years...
you can apply for the 2009-11 batch after taking cat'08...
