hi puys,
as the test series are more or less around the corner, i have a naive kind of question creeping in my mind...
i have come across many friends and fellow puys who suggest two test series simultaneously...the thing i want to get an opinion about is, are two or more test series necessary...?
how they help really...?
i prepared last year using a single test series (CL) only...
please share your opinion regarding the same as it will be helpful to many of us who are in dilemma about the same issue...:-)

My suggestion is that one test series would suffice.
But do look up for the test papers from other coaching classes and practise them yourself.
You might find some interesting strategy or concepts in it.

Concepts For CAT

IMHO,
There are points both for and against it but i still suggest taking two test series as you wont be limited to a particular style of questions and will have plenty of mocks for net practice in terms of strategy and a good repository of questions.Even if your taking the other series at home it should suffice.

Last year i took TIME+CL consecutively on sundays. It used to take a bit out of me and i dint find it ideal. But i had no other choice. A better combination would be one on sunday and the next either on saturday or monday(if possible).

This season im taking TIME on sundays and IMS as takeaway.

PS. Remember that mocks are not the ultimate. More important is the daily learning process(concepts, reading, practice)

For the DI the trick lies really in identifying the questions which are to be done , every year students tend to attempt DI questions which were never meant to be done in the first place , so pick up last year mocks and do those questions or sections , no amount of quick calculations can substitute clever decision making.

I English the difficulty level tends to be very high so be more familiar with complex words in Novels and editorials and in wha context they have been used , also drill into the concept of mandatory pairs and master it.

I'm pretty hopeless @ Quant so won't advice you on that one though.

You have made a correct decision buddy. No need to worry about it.
There are several people who have been able to crack the CAT by giving just one test series only.

But at the same time would suggest again to get the test papers of other coaching classes as well from some of your friends and try solving them out.
