sanaa there are other threads where your query can be answered in a better way
I mean post material that is relevant to that thread only
as far as your query is concerned
they will surely evaluate you and you will be at par with other candidates
you have to just ensure that when the batch starts at IIM you have all your docs ready
it can be a provisional degree that states "you have completed your degree with xx %"
Hope this helps

hi spandan

Welcome to PG!!

CAT eligibility criteria says graduation/final year of graduation with 50% or more marks(45% for reserved category)..in your case i dnt think u will be eligible for CAT as ur missing it by 1 mark.. bt dnt lose hope as CAT is nt the end..i wud suggest u to concentrate on other exams like IIFT,MAT etc which hv only graduation as eligibilty criteria..

i think they ask for aggegate marks i.e marks of all the subjects tht hv been evaluated in ur examinations..howevr if ur marksheet shows only honors subjects and no pass subjects then i think it wont be problem and u shud be eligible for CAT

coaching is not a necessity.....
many ppl give cat without it.........
you can to......

but it is always suggested that you take proper training unless you are exceptionally good.......

as to how many months you need to take training.....

this thread is for cat 2008 and i assume that you are asking for the same....
for it its good if you join a class asap
