regarding your query on the quant book...i'll suggest that go through the mock paper's QA sections...of IMS and CL...(coz TIME u have already seen)
i don't think any book matches the quality of questions as are there in the mocks...
rest you are even more experienced than me...its ur take... | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to raghav507 For This Useful Post: | | | | | |

thnx in advance | yeah CR means critical reasoning.
books are available though they r copy right protected so u can get them through pirated sites.
Here I cant provide u the link as its against forum policy.
alternatively u can search for GMAT official guide in esnips.com
Kaplan however wont b avail most probably on net . This book is costly so if u can lay hands on second hand book or get jst VA section xeroxed that would be great!
the concepts given r pretty good and for every question they have told y others r not the answers and y that particular answer is right.
@ALL PM me ur ids for all the sites n right-to-copy materials

@friends
i wud like 2 share sum of my experiences from CAT 2007 in this thread...
lemme introduce myself...i am a commerce grad from st. xavier's col, kolkata...also doing cfa...
i took classroom coaching from IMS. Solved all da materials in a very short span of time.
aftr tht i simply got into solving quant from ARUN SHARMA...i wud say its a nice and complete book...whr 1 shud solve da (Level of Difficulty) LOD I & II...LOD III solving is not reqd and hence pointless.
As time passed by, i realised tht i ws gud in quant, gud in di (i basically just had probs in data sufficiency) but was struggling really really hard wid da verbal section. Hence i also purchased da Arun Sharma book on verbal; not to much use since da standard was pretty low. So i decided 2 simply shift my focus 2 da mocks of previous yr given 2 me by my seniors. These were of quite good help. I also used 2 regularly solve DI from da mock papers only coz good standard caselets were thr in papers only.
Thn strtd da mock season...for this i enrolled myself in TIME. I must say tht TIME's mock series in damn gud n covers all types of questions in all papers. Different formats, different levels of difficulty...all superb...its very important tht 1 analyses each paper very well...more imp than giving da exam is doing da analysis...1 shud spend at least 5-6 hrs 2 analyse each paper...try 2 do 2 papers every week...n start this schedule from mid july...so tht by da time u sit for da CAT in nov, u wud have already solved arnd 25-30 papers which is more than enuf...leave da rest 2 destiny...
N.B. - Its most imp tht no1 shud lose patience even if aftr constant hard work, results r not coming... CAT really tests ur patience 2 da max...so get tested n crack it...both da PATIENCE & da CAT!!!
ATB 2 all CAT takers 2008!!! TAPMI!!!!
