People, is it too late to start preparing for CAT 2008 now if you already have your basics in place? How much practice is needed to crack CAT? TIME etc start their test series in May - June so Im hoping its not too late yet.

Sona, it's never too late. In fact, now is the right time, wherein one can brush up on the basics for a month or two, and then step up the preparation with mocks, and practice sessions. So, by November, one should be in peak form to take on the CAT.

And if you have your basics already in place, maybe you can devote some time to speed-building or something, before the mocks begin.

All the best!

Thanks Sona, as Abhay said, valuing quality more than quantity is really important. Thanks to my job responsibilities, I wasn't able to devote more than 2-3 hours a day. However, in that time, it is vital to make every single second count!

All the best!
