and i guess rather than making bi-weekly plans, we should make weekly plans. and dat too a bit realistic.
and as regards the Editorials bit, that toh has to be done even if its not in d strategy or not.

Pardon me if i am sounding too critical, but i guess a couple f years of CAT do make you dat.hehehe.......

well anyways, i love the spirit everyone is showing.
Rock on.

I agree. It has to be realistic. And i think, instead of everyone making a plan let one person suggest and the rest can agree, disagree, modify and then start off. All of us are either working (sigh!) or studying. So, one has to know his/her limitations. I am weak in quants. Have given CAT this year with whatever preps. reasonably good in DI. English is my strength but considering the type of questions in CAT for the past 2 years, one needs to brush up big time. I am making a 10-day schedule as I feel it is not too long a time period and not as short as a week.

From 21st Nov-30th Nov

Perm and Comb-3 days
Percentage-3 days
Time & distance (time n work, races)- 3 days
Tenth day-test. (buffer)

A DI set a day-30-45 mins
An RC a day-20mins

So I am writing down our first set of Topics which we will try to cover in coming 2 weeks(till 4 Decmeber) :
(1) GRE Wordlist upto Letter 'E'.
(2) Quant Topic - Number system and Progression.

Is it OK..??

Regards,
Arun

Firstly i think we would be better off followin weekly plans. i think we should slow down a bit on the wordlists. i guess one wordlist per week would suffice for starters. then we can push up the tempo. remember puys we have to maintain enthusiasm for a yr. so lets not get too pumped up rite now. lets start moderately n get in the hang of it. then we can increase the workload gradually by january.

i suggest ( till 25th-nov):

(1) Barrons wordlist of letter A
(2) Tables upto 30, squares n cubes of no. till 30

suggestions welcome from everyone. lets make this thread rock

all the best

hmmmmm......
considering that you have just started preparing and will be takin cat for the 1st time d next yr, your strategy is perfect. not too complicated and not too heavy on the schedule.
for people who are just starting with their preparations, i think 1 wordlist and vedic maths (squares, etc) are the best things to start with. for people who've taken it before, d strategy by puresunshine would be fine....
