hello friend!! yeah it's self financed course.. but there is nothing like u r saying.. it doesn't have any link with the placements... self financed means the course is financed by the students themselves.. there'll be not any subsidy from the university...
u can apply for both the courses... nd u have to submit the XEROX copy of CAT ADMIT CARD with the forms and about the score card.. u'll need to bring it at the time of ur GD/PI.. faculty is good.. regularly senior faculty members of UBS CHANDIGARH visit this ludhiana campus. | | | | | The Following 3 Users Say Thank You to chandan6773 For This Useful Post:

hii all.. I have doubts in the form filling..
* nowhere is mentioned whether a black/blue pen to be used for filling the form... can one use black pen ??
* the instructions states that attach a back draft with application form for Rs. 1000.. I have purchased the form for these many bucks.. so Do i need to again get DD for 1000 ??? even the form has a column where one has to write DD number ???
am totally confused.. i think the online form and the hardcopy ( one provided with prospectus is same.. tat's why it's been written to attache a DD for 1000)
plz answer my queries..

thanxxx | Nothing to worry my friend. you can write with both the pen, but in my opinion blue is better choice. Coming to yours other question if you have seen then you might have observed that yours form has form number ,while online form does not have any number. So you need not to fill DD column ,its pretty understood with form Number that you have purchased the form. Attached DD is for those who apply online. In yours case there is no need for DD. | | | | | The Following User Says Thank You to Cool_vijay For This Useful Post:

It is nice to see the students of UBS coming out with positive opinions off the institute. I just wanted to give a suggestion here ( no offenses to you Vijay), try filling the form with BLACK INK. Black Ink is generally what is used to fill up forms, the Government of India specifies on many forms that they are to be filled with black ink eg. the passport form needs to be filled with a Black Ink Pen. However in case the fomr is silent you may go ahead with either.
Further, Vijay and other alumni of UBS, Ludhiana, please update us of the various activities and inter B School events through this medium so that along with prespective students, other persuing Management at different schools are also updated of the developments at your place.

There is some confusion these days regarding filling of form.
Those who have got prospectus from Chandigarh, have the forms for UBS Chandigarh and the Regional centre in Ludhiana.
The confusion now is that although we have paid Rs.1000 in buying the prospectus so no DD is necessary for UBS chandigarh. But I have heard people say that for the regional centre application, one has to attach a DD for Rs1000.
please confirm. | | | | | | | |

please confirm. | well as per my knowledge no more DD is required , i even checked with UBS website and their is no mention anywhere about separate DD .I even consulted some of my classmates ,AND according to them no separate DD is required. YOU have to attach DD only when you apply online.
