i wouldnt generalize it but it also varies from batch to batch..in my case i was WL 9 in the general category n i made it...so i ld rather keep it at the top 10 in the WL who would ve a fair chance...

yeah ok, but considering the fact that poeple converting bim would have also converted other colleges, wouldnt it be safe to assume that the number of people waitlisted and finally converted would go up?

Its a practice for each batch of BIM to start a group in yahoo...

looks like there is already a group started for BIM25

join in - and start interacting...a couple of seniour students would also be present to answer your queries...

Hi there,
If some-one is waitlisted, pl get in touch with the admin to get your waitlist no.
One cannot for sure say who all in waitlist can get through.
Probably there is chance for those under 10. A lot depends on the movement in a particular category too(just a guess, not sure abt the waitlist process).

Keep your fingures crossed, else just give a damn . Be positive, there is more to achieve!!!

Ya guess ur friend has a reasonable chance- wait for a couple of more weeks till the provisionally selected candidates confirm. Nothing can be said until then....

The waitlisted candidates would be intimated as early as possible.
