BIM Trichy 2008-2010 Admission queries and issues

The second phase of the admission process is all set to begin tomorrow. The first venue is Trichy. GD & PI would go on for the next three days. Catch the action in the GD & PI experiences thread.

hi guys,

1st day at trichy center goes good wid almost evry1 quite happy wid their overall performance.hope others 2 follow wud also have similar experiences..

hope 2 c u soon in campus!!!

Hi puys,

i have given my gd/pi @ bim today.

GD topic :- "does economic development mean social development?"

everyone participated n gave valid points... no fish market .. cool n friendly fellow candidates

we had a writeup after the gd.

i had my interview then..

the panel consisted of three members...
i feel bad for not answering a few tech questions... (very basic tech questions)
rest part of the interview was more profile based. i hope i did wel.

overall a cool process.

be confident and cool... surely you will rock!

Oooff my post GD/PI anxiety is worse than my pre GDS/PI anxiety….

To tell about myself, I am a guy with 3yrs work exp.

My GD topic was ‘Does Economic development mean Social development’ – was a team mate for ‘madeforiim’
As she said, every one did well and the GD was very well organized….oooff that’s the scariest part….

My PI was completely non technical….thank God….I have already done my MS and they asked me why I did it…..they asked about my strengths, about my company, my nature of job, the important quality to be a team member…etc….PI went well…

Seniors were very supportive....thx for that

PS: Guys who want to go early for their post lunch session would have to take lunch along with them....the campus mess is a real mess...no food for outsiders...

I am finding it difficult to wait now…..God pls help me

hey puys....those of you vivited the trichi campus...any idea how was it...cause heard from lot of people bim lacks in infrastructure......please correct me if i am wrong and throw some more light on the issue......
also seniors is it the case that as bim falls in tamil nadu the reservation goes as high as 60%...is it true....how many seats for open category????
