Hi Rahul,
BIM GD/PI is mostly based on general affairs. So you got to be upto date with current affairs. You should be able to project your views on reading/hearing a news. For instance u may be asked to comment on the SEZ disputes.Your reasoning capabilities would be evaluated.
Also the interviewer may even screw u technically(depends on the panel u get)-but all that only based on your work ex or education background for freshers.For instance a Software Engineer specializing in Web Technology may be queried on Web 2/Struts 2.

"I am sorry,I dont know the answer" is more welcome than to beat around the bush.

Ppl look for attitude more than any thing else.

BIM has quota system.So there is different cut-offs for different quota.
Check last yrs cut-off so as to get an idea for this years cut-offs.

Only the overall percentile is taken into consideration.No sectional cut-offs.

Any chances for BIM GD call?

Also, the application status online shows "Payment not received" for me. However, I sent and received an email confirmation from BIM for my DD. Due you think this is a serious issue?
