The report for the placement excercise we underwent, should be out soon. U will get the numbers then. But to give u a hint of what happened this year, I would say BIM had a fantastic season with most of the biggies across all specialisations fighting for a share in our market. This reinforces that BIM is the most trusted and time-tested brand.

Hi All,
I have applied for BIM under tamil nadu BC quota.

My Profile :
cat score : 82.77 %ile
Experience in IT : 18 months.
Engineering : 81 %
xii th : 90.75
xth : 82.27

Can ppl let me know my chance to get a call from BIM. I could feel butterflies in my stomach

The site says last year cut off for BC quota was 71 %ile. But one of the student from BIM informed me that their batch least cut off in BC quota was 79.xx %ile. Can someone clarify on this. Was the former mentioned percentile was to get a call and the later was for the one who has converted the call.

Hi ,
I have few doubts. Please clarify me.

1. Does Bim take sectional cut-off this year ??
2. What weightage does BIM give for Cat score/GD and PI.
Is it that Cat score is only used to fetch a call or has a weightage in the admission process.
3. Does having a experience of 18 months in IT industry(technical side) provide any considerable edge in the selection process.
