each insti has its own benefits, u have to decide own your own ...


cosider these before deciding--

1-brand name
2-faculty
3-fees
4-infra
5-alumni
6-packages
etc


this are not in order as the importance of different criterias differ from individuals...

abt hw many seniors r there having specific Operations[i.e. Major(Operations) and Minors(others like Marketing,HR,etc)] specialisation????...........
do companies comes 4 specific Operations specialisation???????...........

I hv heard most of d seniors hv opted for Marketing(as Major) and Operations(as Minor).............. bt being a mechanical engineer, I wanna hv it other way round i.e. Operations(as major) and Marketing(as minor), would it be fine 4 me????????.......

Is there any senior having this combination(i.e. operations specialisation)??????.......
If yes, den hw muck package he/she got??????.........

at LBS we were told d avg package ws 7.5 smtin .. after my interview only i hd a word wit couple f present batch students , n dey too wr smilin on dis figure .. actual figure happens to be around 6 - 6.5L only , is wt dey told me ..

hows lbs Finance faculty and placement...
what is the fees .. this yr...?
is it necessary to show original mark sheet at the time of admission..... as my mark sheets kept by my office...

you r selected in pgdm. but if you were interested in finance then u should have selected exclusive course of pgdm finance in lbs

sugestion of everybody is right...no one in our batch had ops as major....bt ya few companies came 4 ops .....salary was 6.5....bt in my junior batch i think a few ppl have taken ops as major (Manish Grover might confirm this)...waise in any case there is a paper called Supply Chain Management which is common in marketing and ops....so u can switch between ur major n minors (if required) as per the need of the company during placement......
