Hostel has mess......Internet u can arrange wi-fi at ur own cost....n wat other facilities u r talking of?

It wasnt gud till now 4 finance majors....bt may be the companies start flowing in seeing the dedicated finance course ....n also 2 yrs r remaining 4 placements.....finance industry is set to grow in India.....so will be hard to make such an out right comment that they cant expect good salaries...but ya if u extrapolate....then DONT EXPECT....and preference of engineers in wat sense? plz be more specific.....

cn u please tell me abt d average and highest package of operations?........... u told dat dere is nt much demand of operations as far as companies coming to lbs r concerned, wat do u wanna say wen u quoted " companies may start coming", is at present operations placement r nt good and companies r nt coming?????????

I'm a bit confused as I'm interested in operations only(being a mechanical engg. I hv lot of interest in this field)............is lbs a good choice as far as operations is concerned????......plz reply

i m sure mr. tekriwal must be telling you people about gross salaries, as i personally know many guys who got more than 7.5L as ctc..

ya, engineers do get some preference and extra package but it differs from company to company and their requirements, some companies want only engineers and some prefer bcom or other courses...


as i said earlier, operations companies in particular are not many..but companies like maruti, mahindra and many other can offer operations profile if u find u suitable for the job, as these companies are our regular recruiters and u get a lot of companies where u can leverage upon urs mechanical engg degree..

Some people have posted this question “converted IMI-HR,LBS ,FORE which one to go for”.now there is one question to be answeredo u really wanna go in for hr? CONSIDER following facts;1.cat 2006 cut off IMIPGDM 95% IMIHR 91%.cat 2007 cut off IMIPGDM 96% IMIHR 90%2.FOR 120 seats in pgdm ,247 people have been shortlisted.FOR 60 seats in pgdmhr ,197 people have been shortlisted(why has college management done this? What does it IMPLY???????3.for those guys concerned wid placementIMIHR avg. package 6.89 lacLbs avg. package 7.24Fore avg. package {>7.5]I am a CAREER LAUNCHER faculty shoot ur queries here…………

No preference as such....bt ya some companies come only 4 engineers...like Infy this yr took only engineers....
