N also LBSIM dosn hav a hostel and they hav taken lease is wat i heard.
does dat hostel hav internet/mess & other facilities???

Hello everyone,
I received the courier containing the selection letter yesterday evening . Dates for submission of fees (Rs.90K) is between 16th April and 24th April. Course starting date is 16th June. They have asked for all the original academic certificates with the attested photocopies. Nothing has been mentioned about the hostel in the letter.

Is there any procedure of the kind of fee waiver if finally someone doesn't take admission.

yaa, they will deduct only 1,000 and refund all back, that is also applicable till 15 June.

Puys i have seen the list and there are 330 students in the merit list for 180 seats and this is excluding the waitlisted students...So anyone care to shed light on this..and what are the chances of people in the waitlist gettin through...

ya laterals get some preference over others and better package, it mainly depends upon the company....

there is not much demand of operations by companies in our insti.. but u never know by the time u pass out , companies start coming,as the brand of lbsim is increasing...

lbsim got a name in market in just 13 years since its inception as compared to other instis which are there from 25+ years ......so the growing curve of lbsim is steeper than others.....


i really doubt that somaiya and nirma are above overall, though they have beeter infra , but infra is not everything guys....u have to look at other things too.............

cn u please tell me abt d average and highest package of operations?........... u told dat dere is nt much demand of operations as far as companies coming to lbs r concerned, wat do u wanna say wen u quoted " companies may start coming", is at present operations placement r nt good and companies r nt coming?????????

I'm a bit confused as I'm interested in operations only(being a mechanical engg. I hv lot of interest in this field)............is lbs a good choice as far as operations is concerned????......plz reply ASAP

The quoted avg is 7.58 L....reality is a bit different as formula 4 avg is not that we studied in school....so Avg package in reality wud be around 5.5L and dont expect it to be 7.5 as only 6 ppl of our batch got above 7.5...n 14.5 is in Microsoft which the guy got it done by hsi own sources/......INsti helped in getting in higest package of 8.5 L....so the decision is yours ....as my junior has already mentioned that dont go by my single advice...ask others ...N PLZZZZZZZ who join insti by taking avg as 7.58 in consideration and believing it to be true...plz meet me in alumni meet this year...lolzzzzz

last year and last to last year situation was same bt waitlists got converted....so keep ur fingers crossed....cant say anything with surity as brand name has improved over the years
