Ur background hardly matters, go to any iim's 80% of the people who take finance are engineers & they are doing pretty well, better than bcom people....

so it all depends upon ur intersets.....if u r gud with no.s & finance attracts u , u should take this opportunity....

No need of visiting campus as such...n u will come to knw abt ur waiting status only after the last day of fees deposit of selected candidates in merit list

ur acads show u r an outstanding student.........Finance needs ur technical knowledge...as i hav seen that most engineers perform better at finance then CA n B. com ppl like me if they really work hard.....it depends on ur interest area....if u r interested in marketing u hav the best in the country MICA so join that or come and join LBSIM finance

HR gud area to work 4 and IMI a gud insti better than LBSIM...if u r not sure ofd ur area of interset n wanna take HR go there....bt really speaking the HR does not open so much career avenues as will be opened by other fields....as u can join HR even after few years of expereience in acompany in marketing , it or finance....bt it does not work other way round,.....hope i m successful in removing ur confusion to certain extent

no idea of last date plz check website or ask sum1 who has been selected.,.....n waitlist will be called 4 admission in 2 or 3 days frm last day of fees deposit by merit list 1
