hey man if u think ur waiting in IIT D can be converted finally then donot come here in CHD. UBS is much hyped institute as pointed out earlier in this forum. Its not worth doing MBA here in UBS. it just fun not mgmt.
But if u r to stay ith IIT Rorkee then prefer to UBS as u will get atleast a chance (mind it CHANCE) to sit in a good company PPT( Pre Placement Talk).

Sharing my personal views, i think u shud not go by d ppl saying dat ubs is much hyped institute.U'll only listen to ppl saying from chandigarh saying dat coz they think leaving chd nd going to some other institute in bombay or other gud place gives dem sthing to boast bout .So, its merely an ego issue. Dey r ready to go to any damn institute but not to ubs just coz dey want to boast bout goin to bombay or other such places .
Though i agree it doesnt possess a gud infrastructure but even fms too doesnt hv a sound one. Also, u r bound to get a gud job in case u r amongst average ppl of ubs.
Nd dis is not just speculation. I hv a no of frnds dat were on an average scale during dere 2 yrs but still managed to get a decent job.
Although some think dat it is mere fun nd not mgnt.
Here, only thing i'll like to say is dat its better to get a gud job after 2 yrs of fun den getting same job or no job after 2 yrs of b-school pressure nd hard life nd thus joinin any damn institute elsewhere.(I think u shud hv got my point nd for those who havent i damn care) Tough times dont last but tough people do....
Its only in tough times dat u get a chance to prove how tough u r !!!!!!!

Thanks for the positive response but as lluck seems to be against me , I couldn't book my tickets for 27th as I came back on 20th and already tickets seemed to be full something in a waiting list so I decided to drop it, I did consult the faculty at TIME and shown the letter from forum and he too thourougly disagreed saying that the Chandigarh guy was talking cramp and what matters ultimately is the repute and placements. Thanks for the positive rating for UBS it did help me thanks
