Hi Nandan2000,

Its thru UCP (i.e. Under Certificate of Posting)...

As for character certificate, You need to carry along with you. Its very much required. You can refer to result page of the NITIE website (NITIE website - Home) It is clearly mentioned over there.

Hey Chetan,

You need to carry the xeroxes of all your mark sheets (i.e. 10th, 12th, Graduation) and other certificates that you think might improve your chances... (like ur extracurriculars)

As for clashing of dates, have u mailed to the impact.nitie@gmail.com or admissions@nitie.edu id??

As for not receiving you GD-PI Call letter, you should be getting it any moment. But, just in case you don't, then in addition to the documents mentioned above, do carry the following documents without fail:
1. Your original CAT Score Card,
2. Your original CAT Admit Card,
3. An identity proof which can be your Passport/Driving License/PAN Card/Voter I-Card.

Also, do note that, this is in addition to what is mentioned in the FAQ section of the Website link given in my signature.

I have my NITIE GD\PI call on 12thy march and IIM C GD\PI on 13th march.
also as i have been shortlisted in SPJAIN third list i will be having my spjain interview after 14th march. it is not possible for me to go to mumbai again n agin from kolkata. Can i ask NITIE to reschedule my interview on 14th march.
Plz reply as soon as possible.

1. Obviously u ve not been following the discussions in the previous pages.
2. NITIE is a GOI Institute, other colleges are technically not colleges, they are departments viz. DoMS, etc (a little technical, u ll understand this fully if u go thru the intricacies of establishing an institution) . To get into any Govt run institution a character certificate is mandatory unlike in private enterprises.
3. Any MNC however big, does not classify as "Govt. run" and hence they do not issue or ask for character certificates.
4. You will find many people in the institution who are from "reputed and big MNCs", they ve all respected the rule in the past. You are expected to do the same.
5. Please try and use better grammar when u are posting. It looks good especially in an official forum.
6. And oh yes, gud luck for ur GD/PI...

By that time as we will leave the company therefore we will definately get it from our employers.Also I called up admissions office today an hour ago and a lady told me that I can come with all other certis right now and no need to wrry about it at this moent. She told "we will see at the time of admission"That is enough for me :PThanks all the seniors....

u don't ve an option to be rude so chill... beggars can't be choosers.
And for the information of the rest of the Puys here, if u by chance forget to bring one of ur documents/certificates (the less important ones), the process is that u r asked to sign a declaration stating that u shall furnish the same at a later stage when required, failing which u shall forfeit ur right to admission in the institute.
However, u might not want things to reach this stage as it may cause unnecessary delays in ur process, extra paperwork, added tension to the existing anxiety levels. Also if the officials r in a bad mood, u never know what might happen. So to stay away from all this, we make it mandatory for u to carry ur documents at the time of interview.
There will be a certificate verification process that will precede ur GD/PI.
@ ALL: u may also discuss GD topics/ PI faqs here if u want. Do go thru the life.nitie site for a host of topics and info. Shoot any basic Dos/Donts that u might want to know about. We ll all help u out. It's just 5-6 days away. So gear up as best as u can.
