Hi Friends,
Its the time of year when all the aspirants across the nation will be experiencing such kind of dillemmas. As soon as one entrance test will get over, ppl will start feeling whether they are going to make it or not. Trust us we also went through the same phase. And believe us, no one can say which score is sufficient to get a call from a particular B-School. Reason being no one knows the true status of his/her standing and how have others faired.
All the scores and cut-offs you see are just based on experiences. So are the answer keys. Some of these have been proven wrong time and again. And the best example was last year... when EU was the toughest and those scoring in 30s and 40s by different ans keys came down to 10s and some into 10s went to 30s once the IIMs released the score card. Point we want to make is please do not loose heart on the scores that you might be getting, more so especially in EU/RC. A few key points:
1. Have confidence in yourself.
2. Stay focussed. As this is the time when you might start deviating. Lots of exams still to go.
3. Take a little bit of risk of applying to different B-Schools of your choice if you think you are scoring really good overall. You never know what is the GD-PI call criteria going to be.
4. If one of the paper does not go well, dont panic. If you are good then its just a matter of time and place where you click.
To paint-it-yellow and gvg: We would say keep your fingers crossed. paint-it-yellow, last year also EU had made and broken a lot of hearts, so lets be optimistic. gvg, you might just be in.
All the best to all of you.
Cheers,
