Nice topic..... And one of my favorite ones..... Generally do well in this area.. Managed a 4 on 5 in CAT 2006

One important tip... The answer option, in most cases, deals with the sentence that immediately precedes the blank statement...... and on many occassions contains the key word of that sentence...

E.G From CAT 2006

Here we can narrow down to two options... Option 3 can be rejected as it is reinstating the idea in last line thus cannot follow 'as a result'....... Thus option 5

Most of u wud have gone thru this.. but then there was none else, let's go thru them once more..
