Hi puys, I have been late here in posting my scores :
QA - Time given - 55 minutes - 12 attempts, 12 correct - score 48
DI - Time given - 55 minutes - 15 attempts, 14 corrcet - score 55 VA - Time given - 40 minutes - 20 attempts, I have 2 correct out of 6 questions whose answers I know. Baki sab ka pata nahin , but with even 50% accuracy in VA, I would get 30. Only a speculation though.
So, overall should be around 130. Started with quant, started looking for sitters to give me some confidence, tried doing a few problems, but first 10 minutes mein 1 bhi question nahin bana. Now, I knew I won't get the answers that easily, there were very few sitters in quant, and I had to spent more time on each question. After that did some 10 questions in next 40 minutes.
Came to DI, again started searching for a sitter set that would give me some confidence, and luckily there were many in DI, did around 13 questions in 45 odd minutes. DI was easy, and somehow realising that at this time I have cleared the cut-off in DI(don't know why, I had never done it in any mocks), went back to qaunt, where I felt I should attempt a bit more. Did 2 more questions in quant in 5 minutes.
Lat 45 minutes left, and I went to VA, and here came a surprise, found that I have missed an entire DI set (AJ wala), I was in a shock, my form was 111, and it might have happened to some other guys as well, missing out on the last DI set (since the previous page had 3/4th of it empty, so I thought DI is over here ).
I decided I just can't leave this set. Did 2 questions from this set in 5 minutes (Only wrong question in DI I got was in this set).
Then last 40 minutes for VA, 20 attempts, no idea how many correct.
But i am glad to see my accuracy in QA and DI. My attempts were modest, but accuracy saved the day for me .
VA mein 50 % bhi accuracy aa jaye bus, cut-off clear ho jaye.
@phantom and ashish : With 110 plus score, I am sure there will be 3-4 calls for you
@Greenspan : Great spirit buddy, you were a source of inspiration for many, and you still remain the source of inspiration. And I am sure you will bounce back, the game is not over yet
------------------------------------------------------------------------- Edited after CAT Result: VERDICT : Got all 6 calls, BLACKI
Final scores : Section----Marks------Percentile
---QA-------48------------99.43
---DI-------- 55------------98.75
---VA-------40------------99.20
Overall----143-----------99.89 Cut-offs, all cleared

Some good scores as usual by UDT..
But I think I faltered again in this last exam. Thanks Krishanu for that wonderful post..
Greenspan buddy, you know how well u can bounce back.. I need not give all that gyaan to you. You were one of the best and still everything is not over
"Its not over, till its over."
I didnt feel like computing my exact scores.. Checked many questions with Anir and VA is damned. I dont want to make any score predictions for me. Will just wait for Jan 8th. Or better still will try to forget that I ever wrote CAT 2007(I know its impossible.)
Got the FMS and XAT forms, I think I should go ahead filling them.
Probably, Some things are not made for each other. Mac and IIMs.
Thanks for showing some faith in me. One day I will live upto it. | | | | | The Following 24 Users Say Thank You to macora For This Useful Post: | abhay agarwal (19-11-2007), anarchy (19-11-2007), ashish abraham (20-11-2007), Basilisk (19-11-2007), CAT 2007 (19-11-2007), CATCALL (19-11-2007), chakde (19-11-2007), cimbaish_Nitin (19-11-2007), deep_agrawal (19-11-2007), esh.nil (19-11-2007), Greenspan (19-11-2007), HarshaRocks (19-11-2007), jagannath_4all (19-11-2007), krishanu (19-11-2007), krsh.vik (19-11-2007), mirchikris (20-11-2007), nihilist1986 (19-11-2007), Obsessed_bout_mba (20-11-2007), rahulworld (19-11-2007), rani_das (19-11-2007), rjt163 (19-11-2007), satanica (19-11-2007), sid_dharth (19-11-2007), the_phantom (19-11-2007) | | | | |

I am getting a feeling of being betrayed..always backed on my quants..but as the fate wanted it to be..totally screwed my favorite section...didn't had courage to check other two scores...sorry guys for spreading the negative energy in the forum.. ...but that does not mean that I am out of this business...will bounce back...my roommate who always scored 70-80ish percentiles in AIMCAT and always got less score than me in quants and as a matter of fact..I helped him in quants(believe me guys my morale is to down to boast about anything) is getting a 38 in quants and overall..128 with even splits...wake up this morning hoping that yesterday was a bad dream... | | | | | The Following 12 Users Say Thank You to RISING For This Useful Post: | Arun Paliwal (23-11-2007), ashish abraham (20-11-2007), chakde (19-11-2007), cimbaish_Nitin (19-11-2007), Greenspan (19-11-2007), HarshaRocks (19-11-2007), jagannath_4all (19-11-2007), krsh.vik (19-11-2007), macora (19-11-2007), nihilist1986 (19-11-2007), rani_das (19-11-2007), spark 2008 (13-05-2008) | | | | |

My fellow UDTians,
Apologies for being so dormant u'd have thought I had gone into hibernation. Yes, it was my fault, I accept it.
Secondly, to everyone who has not performed up to their expectations (that includes u, Prem and u, Greenspan), there are battles yet to be fought. We are UDT-2k7. Remember the motto- “When the going gets tough, UDT gets going”?? Now it is time to prove the saying. Things CANNOT possibly get tougher than this. And whatever bu**-sh** we’ve done in the paper, we cannot do worse. So let’s show those setting the IIFT paper and others to follow some good ol’ fight!
And thirdly, my scores:
QA- 34 (11 attempt, 9 correct. Discovered that 10-3-3=3 in the paper and missed out on the ODD word while finding m and n. Is there a worse way to lose marks?? If so, I don’t want to know.)
DI- 60 (20 attempt, 16 correct. Equally silly mistakes here.)
VA- 50 (IMS)/ 30 (TIME). Dunno wat to say about the stupid coaching insti’s if they can’t figure out the correct answers for even this paper.
Overall- 144 (IMS)/ 124(TIME).
After seeing my scores, Im damn sure the IMS keys are much better.
Anyways, there are still battles to be fought and bruises to be taken. Until then, ciao.

 Finally, Its all over
I felt it was a moderately difficult paper with an unorthodox quant paper, tough va and moderately easy DI paper.
My take on the cutoffs
QA : 20
DI : 30
VA : 22
I donno whether I stand a chance or not I still have a lil ray of hope. Deep in my heart, something says that the game has just begun. I shall keep my fingers crossed and hope for the best ... Rest
Remember When the going gets tuff, UDT gets going I am still an UNDERDOG
