All the best people!

Chill out there... Go there a half an hour earlier, if you have friends at the same location, all the more better, if not take a ipod or a walkman; it might soothen your nerves before the paper
Last time moi along with 2 more friends (who luckily had nearby venues) had morning breakfast at a small cafe; it was so early, the shop owner was still putting up the tables and cleaning the floor while we were gulping away the idlis But it was refreshing! (although none of us did crack CAT )

If possible watch a movie or go out to dinner tonight; but whatever you do, sleep well, it always pays!!!

More important guys, enjoy, coz the chicks always dress up well for the exams, don't ask why!!! But in terms of reducing the tension, it works awwsum But phool can-cent-tration only on the paper during those 2 and half hours

ATB UD Team, phod dalna

Cheers,

Hey all

Here is wishing each and every one of you the very best of luck for the exam tomorrow. Little pointers, which albeit might be overused, and overmentioned (if there is such a word)
Please remain calm, its just another exam. Its highly overrated, and really not worth the brouhaha that surrounds it.
Enjoy sitting in the exam hall watching other guys shi**ing bricks, and others revising last minute notes. Take a deep breath before the paper, strategise your approach in the time before the paper actually starts, and then attack it. Please use the 15 minutes that you get after getting the question paper effectively.

Anyways, do well. As we say out here at IIM Calcutta, "Put crack!"

Cheers
Sunil

Yo UDT...

I know I am kinda late in coming here to wish all of you, and that you won't be reading this before your big exam...

But still, here's wishing you all the very best from the bottom of ma heart. UDT has always performed at an exceptional level on the final d-day, come what may. And I am sure that you guys will (or would have) as well.

Everyone has said something about what to do before the paper. All I'll say is, chill out after the paper. Go to a pub, or a movie or just hang around with your friends.

Wait till tomorrow for all the keys to perfect themselves and only then start analyzing. It can be pretty infuriating with so many bogus keys coming out within 2 hours of your writing the paper.

You have worked pretty hard over the year... so now its time to CHILL...

Ciao... n all da best once again!

Re: PG Underdogs Team (UDT) '07 - 18-11-2007, 04:30 PM

Hello UDT

So finally the actual mock is over and I am feeling good after giving the paper

Hope everyone else is felling the same about the paper!!!

My attempts section wise:

DI-19
QA-13
VA-21

Total - 53 kostins

Overall the paper was of medium level of difficulty according to me. The DI was all calculation based which for many would have been the surprise factor DI also saw the return of the DS questions.

The quant section was tougher than last CAT but there were some sitters here and there

I would say VA section was on the easier side as compared to the previous year's CAT. This section also saw the return of the PJ's and there were 3 sitters of ABAB type

My take on the cutoffs:

DI:-32-35
QA:-28-30
VA:-26-28

Total:-100+ for atleast 1 IIM call.!!!

Lets hope for the best for everyone and I would suggest to stay away from the answer keys and concentrate on IIFT which is on next sunday

Cheers!!!
Siddharth
