Dear Anir,Isko kahte hain "Dhobi Pachad" or a "Straight Drive". I don't have time to follow up on this matter with PG admin and as such UDT 2006 is history, it is time for UDT 2007. Try for UDT 2007 tees and at least give to all old members as well. If I get time at later stage when CAT is near, then may be I will try to post regularly. Till thenLage raho,Arun

Its so disheartening to see this response from puys. Reallly. everytime i logged in, I saw more users, more mock threads, more junta taking mocks, more junta enthu about the UnderDog Team 2007. Really had high hopes ... seems they are going to be dashed this year .......

• You know you can crack the CAT, and kick the DT's ***, but no1 thinks so
• You know all the above things are true, but no1 believes you coz u have never done something to show them ..

Its a team of individuals who are all of the above and More.
It s a team which will support each other, which will have the support of the all the puys. (Y do u think UDT 2006 did so well?)
Its a team of people who have the drive to show the world and prove a point to one and all, that eventually

• its the Underdogs that rock
• its the Underdogs that rule
• its the Underdogs who ll kick every1's b***
• its the Underdogs who ll become the best of frnds for life ...

But i guess, you should be more worried about losers and big mouths and dreamers .... .. .. wots coming of this world

Beautiful....Now that it's been so clearly put, I hope we get more nominations....I personally feel that Junta at times may have a convoluted impression of the "requirements" of UDT - for ex - that you "must not have more than one top 100 score" - I say this cos I am sure there are hundreds of puys who have not been doing great in mocks and feel they dont stand a chance of getting a look-in...Puys if you get such thoughts - remove them and ask me my mock scores

Pls pump up the nominations - This would translate into more involvement with this thread over the coming months..

i have been a silent observer of this thread for a very long time.
Was one of the few who actually started the BBLT concept
somewhere along though i began to realize that i don't totally belong there totally

but after going thru this thread - i feel - maybe this is the place

my mock performances have been fluctuating - from 88.xx to 99.xx
mostly its either early nineties or late nineties - thats a cause of concern cause i either do very well or mess it up royally

and why i want the underdog tag - well simple - after a disaster in 2k6, and fluctuating mock score, not many will bet on me at this stage - but i am following Al Pachino's advice from Devil's Advocate

Finally some bashing spirit. But you are indeed spot on. It is the BBLT team which has taken up the most enthusiastic people. That team has the 16 most energetic people of the current crop in PG(obvious from their activity in the thread). The very few who were left behind have already nominated themselves here.

What UDT was last year, BBLT is this year, namely a team for the ones who are down and want to be up there, and quick. And it doesn't help our cause much that it started a long time back.

Also, it is the general perception that scores wise, UDT is just one notch below DT i.e. people who just missed out on DT will get in here. That prevents people with "self-proclaimed low" scores from posting here. Judges please clarify this point.

Added is the fact that the junta this year in PG are indeed more inactive than last year (as in, the no of active people). And it is true when I look at old threads. Otherwise when I PMed 20 puys about this thread, hardly a few replied to me, or posted in the thread. I guess we will have to just live with it.

But most importantly is the rule that everyone is to post only one post for their nomination. That kinda gives an excessively formal look to the thread, and makes most people (like Elusionist) silent observers. Only posts from judges such as Revant will break the monotony(when this could have ideally been done by many puys here). The success in the no of nominations for BBLT was in that there were atleast 20 puys coming out with their own polished versions of what BBLT should be like. And yes there were comments on others nominations but all in the good spirit. The judges' job was made easier by puys themselves who pointed to relevant links to only the nominations. Moreover, "the richer get rich and the poor get poorer" applies to threads too. When people see a lot of activity, they are urged to post there.

Yes, some people might think that my post here is still a spam! To h*** with those who think so! What I started off as a PM to profootball25, definitely deserves to be a post in this thread.

CAT - '06 Overall: 97.5x, DI: 97.xx QA: 96.xx VA: 73.xx unfortunately, i marked a whole bunch of questions out of sequence... ended up marking all of them wrongly...

As far as my motivation for CAT is concerned, it is mainly because of my office, which happens to be next to 200 odd tonnes of highly volatile material... so... it is a very strong motivation indeed... you can see that my performance is quite haphazard... i never quite get all three scores to converge and boost my overall... i am confident that i can pull it off on C-Day though... as far as the UDT is concerned, i guess i am a good candidate because i have always been an Underdog...ever since class 5th or so... teachers never gave me a rat's chance in a jet engine... but i managed to pass every subject... thankfully...

I GUESS I HAVE SEEN N READ ENOUGH ON TIS THREAD TO RESTRAINT MYSELF FROM PINNING DOWN MY THoUGHTS......my full apologies to the moderators if its considered spamming......but a thought is better told than buried deep inside a heart !!

i ve senn enugh talks of all enthusiastic members going to BBLT......enough about team formation strategies n selection procedures n deadlines.....enough of all.....but in the end.....are we doin anything PRODUCTIVE here.....

we r helping our cause none by stretching the team finalisation.....and then ruing tat BBLTians are way ahead of us (no offence meant to tem ).....whom r we actually waiting for to nominate.......the people who r highly enthusiastic (at par if not more than BBLT )ve alredy filled in their nominations......SO WHY BEING SO LATE IN THE ACTIVITY?

ONE needs to understand tat 50 to 60 daYS OF focused n well-directed PREP is a must for cracking the competition in CAT....if we r forming the team after another 15 days.....we would effectively ve only october left for preps.....and a chunk of it is consumed in holidays which we cant skip......keeping nov only for revision ofcourse.. so wats the point inn being so late !!!

finally...as regards enthu is concerned....i m sure once the team is formed ...there would be a cracker of an activity.....considering that MUTUAL UPLifTMENT is the central theme of tis thread.....for sure no one would leave any stone unturned to LIVE THEIR DREAMS !!!

After googols of blasphemy, here goes my unofficial nomination...

AIMCATs

Pre-Open Era: Max - 99.96%ile | Min - 97.92 %ile

Open and post era: Max - 99.2%ile | Min - 96.00 %ile

In between, had hoards of 97 and 98s

SIMCATs:

SIM 1 -- 99.4%ile
SIM 2 -- 99.6 (Gave at home, so credibility is less)

Strength: 97+ in QA and DI almost every single time (I choose to treat the rest as exceptions)
Weakness: 84 to 98 %ile variation in VA (Lord.. Help thy Son..! )
Opportunity: Ready to do mba from chin min tin college as well, this time round
Threat : How to extract a 2 week leave in Nov..!

Why UDT: Apart from value add, team work blah blah...
It'll be my pride.! Nothing else matters.
