e-Option Form - 04-09-2007, 12:12 AM

:smilecol::smilecol::smilecol::smilecol::smilecol:

Hi friends!

Have you ever wondered whether you could self assess your performance in any of the practice/Mock/Sim CAT papers right there sitting on ur PCs???:

Well, I have made a unique solution to it.

:rolleyes:The idea striked me when I saw that CAT practice papers are available in plenty over the Net.Also, some GRE/GMAT sites are providing HTML based sample tests, wherein you can give the test online and evaluate your scores. But for the resorces available in JPEG/PDF/DOC formats you have to either take printouts of them, or scribble your answers on a piece of paper.

Now with the help of this unique e-Option Form you can do a lot of things :
1. Enter your options for the respective questions in the e-Option Form and compare them with the answers given in the solution booklet(s)!
2. Take printouts of this e-Option Form and darken your answers on it for an actual practice of the CAT exam,as you do in the Mock CATs.
3. Compare this e-Option Form with the actual answers given by means of ADOBE® Acrobat® Reader's Professional Version.(Thats a lenghty method, still you can try it out!)
4. You may type in your name and date of the exam taken and (after the exam) your score too, for your future reference.

<Snip> PM me, if you have any queries regarding the e-Option Form.

Finally, thanx a lot for yur patience for reading out this thread.I hope the Moderators would also appreciate this idea!

P.S.: The link to download the form is provided in any of the [blue] e-Option Form tag!

...............

i downloaded and saw that.. its quite good and clear... i have even tried a few input options on the pc similar to this but i guess a photocopy of the CAT OMR sheet is more than enough for me. till today i'm using the same for this purpose (I took a lot of copies of the answer sheet from the CAT 2007 Bulletin available in pdf form)

i think its largely because of the satisfaction and personal touch u get when you put a tick mark on the correct answer, count the number of them and feel satisfied. i also feel the freedom offered by a pencil and a paper (thats wat u get in the real CAT exam) cannot be replaced by the pdf file.... hehehe

anyway thank you for the effort you put into making that

Seems that u didn't actually read my quote!
I've already mentioned that u can use this sheet for taking printouts/photocopy & use it as OMR sheet.
Again it's for those who actually take efforts all the day and try to solve papers in the little time which they get!!

hmm i've read and completely understood what you have have stated in your post dude..

plz note that i've downloaded your pdf form used that and expressed my fair opinion on how it compares with the methods that I'm using at present for the same purpose.

Also see that i've used a plenty of 'I's and 'Me's in all my posts in this thread. It is how I feel. I have not generalised my statement. There might be different reaction among the PG junta (as of now which is apparently none because 1) no one except me has 'Thanked you'. 2) no one has even bothered to reply. 3) and no one has even voted. you yourself voted for two options)

and your are groaning at me... hmmm i should have never bothered to reply in the first place :(

I have revoked my 'Thanks' now.

Re: e-Option Form - 10-09-2007, 08:14 PM

The e-Option Form is for those papers which are available online or in scanned/softcopy format!!

It just saves your time for ticking here & there on a piece of paper.

As I've already mentioned,it is used mostly for analysing the performance of oneself!!
