Hay puys what a paper
CF come up with all together different pattern in all only 100 questions and not same number of questions in each section...
also 200 marks for each section...
first few minutes i was just watching how did they manage number of questions and section to come up with exact 50 qs of 4 marks and 50 of 8!!!!
then it was normal attempt just keeping in mind that cut off will be just double of last time or so...
im will analyse the paper and put my scores..:satisfie:

I had a horrible performance.
Verbal Ability was ghostly, DI was anightmare. Only place I could do something was quanta.
Total=36 Dont ask more.

32 in QA
22 in VA
and 24 in DI

why the di in all the pre cat of CF was so tough:(:(:(:(

i never clear the cut offs in DI as told by the CF site

i justr dont know wat to do to improve my reasoning

Just leave it to CF guys to churn out one magnificent paper after other....bring you back down to earth.. I was flying high with my saturday mock scores hitting the roof.. but i guess this was real stuff...

First of all I would just like to say to every puy.. dont be disheartened! I love these papers more.. since i get to learn so much from these! u spend days analysing such papers trying to solve.. trying to reason.. no use clearing all cutoffs everytime and learn nothing right? So just shrug it off and get back in the game...cheers!
Though i do hope ki some of us would have managed a 3 digit score..

DI 34

No explanations.. i just screwed up :P and am allowed to do so!!

Though i may sound biased.. but i have interacted with all institutes (as an employee, student what not !).. and CF is undoubtedly the king in paper setting.. So dont worry u r in safe hands

Di wasnt so hard my friend... anyway the only thing to do is practice and choose the right questions..
u could have picked only the CAT XAT waala set in the 8 markers.. which was the easiest of the lot.. and a lot of straightforward sets in 4 markers..

be shrewd in chosing what questions to answer!

About my own performance in the test, the less said the better . Was having a splitting headache for most part of the Mock. Hence could concentrate for only about an hour of the whole test. And finally when i made up my mind to leave, the invigilator said NO . She told me to just put my head down and sleep. (As if i am in school ). However, i don't even have the guts to post my scores. Will surely be back with a vengeance in PreCAT - 05.

PS: Will post my analysis of the paper at a later time.

Overall: 125. I truly don't have any clue in CF's RCs...I wonder if they have appropriate answers to their RC questions.

Also...guys please check the answer to question Number 45. None of the answers are correct. Option 3 is the closest. The answer can never be 1/2 as that would mean that the rectangle ABEF is half the area of the Octagon...think about it...is it possible ..the Sum of the area trapeziums at the top and bottom of the rectangle so formed are definitely more than the area of the rectangle.
