Bol Bachan Losers Team! - 07

Till now my higestest percentile is 87.5 and lowest is 36. and my scores are fluctuatuing like a sine curve. Now since only 66 days left what is the appropriate plan to get a percentile above 99. and what material should i work on in the coming 6o odd days ( like the BRMS or ONLY MOCKS ,).

I am a software engineer with 2 years of work ex.

My the order of the sections which i am comfortable are :

1) VA
2) Quant
3) DI

however i am consistently not clearing the cutoffs in any of the sections

I have enrolled for TIME , however i am not attending classes as i feel its waste of time there but i end up not utilizing the time at home also .

if i do attend the class , then i would be sulking why the hell i attended the class , it was complete waste of time as they just teach the basics and i can manage it from the material which they have given .

the stratergy which i use in the mock are , start with English for 45 mins , then quant for 45 and then continue with DI for the rest of the time , sometimes i do go back and look into some quant questions also. English i usually finish in the first 45 questions apart from some difficult RC's and with some questions where i get stuck with two or 3 options .

Please help me out .

great, thts perfect. Thnx alot, for yeasterday, and this. The DI session has not been done yet i think, until unless it was the 1st BBLT conference, i didnt attend so somebdy who attended will have to confirm. Friday most probably there is no session bcoz of the India Pak match

although it is still not very clear.....well dre is a diff way of dealing with weights whenever u r aware that weight is lighter or heavier and dre is a diff way of dealing when u r aware that the weight is diff(heavier or lighter dont know)......Now general formula for x weighings and n coins when u r aware that the coin is lighter in weight is:: 3^x >= (n) and when u r aware that the weight is diff(heavier or lighter,wont matter) then the formula is 3^x >= 2(n)+1.......So if u consider Q.23 then it applies the first formula and for 24 and 25 the 2nd formula is applied....but still m confused that y is the difference dre......although a general formula which gives all the answers right in meagre 15 secs is:: for n coins.....if 3^a

In the first session, we did discuss DI, but not extensively. The main focus was the cricket, football wala set in the AIMCAT 0808.

Get online, and keep PGs quant threads open, keep practicing in ur free time, visit sites like artofproblemsolving.com and totalgadha.com for good articles. Revise and revise the fundamentals from Time material, get down and read every word in their geometry chapter for instance and try all the excersise sum, if you can do all of them, then step 2 - do all the section tests Time has given, once done, take all aimcat papers and do all the sums in QA section. Do this daily, day in and day out, concepts -sums - tests..dont stop till Nov 18

DI
Do atleast 2 DI sets a day from mock papers. Take on DI test every 3 days. Thats all. But dont miss a day.

VA
One day RC for 30 mis. Next day VA for 30 mins (since its ur strength, do only sectional tests, and use practise sets also as tests)

And when u feel down, come visit this thread, we will pump u up.

completing the post above......If n coins r dre in a pan balance then no of weighings is a+1.....provided that n lies between 3^a and 3^a+1.......

Vineet... I meant the sets wale funde ka set... where the two organizations WHO and other one poll for the sport played. Hope you understood me right. Anyways, we can proceed with other sets.
