Hello BBLTians,
Another day has gone by, slowly but surely the C-Day is nearing.
Yesterday went home really late, worked for an hour with some problems relating to triangles and felt sleepy by 2 so slept. 
Aaaj morning did pakka 808 QA analysis.
- question 1 had done correctly in the exam hall, but due to calc error had not arrived at any of the choices and ended up not marking it - 2 marks to the dogs
- question 8 got 0.7781*150 = 118.715 (i kno..kick me!) and marked 118+1 as answer  - 1.25 marks to the dogs
-question 10, went for substitution, found that 17 fits the bill, but due to calc error ( while taking 8 as b got a+c as 25 - 8 = 16  , so 9*16 = 144 ..and voila ! even 8 fits the bill, so happily marked 5) - 1.25 marks to the dogs
-question 25 - I did the weighing almost manually by dividing the coins into sets of three each time for this whole set - got first two right - last one I got 6 weighing, but dont know why I marked 7.... - 3.75 marks gone to the dogs ...
Total lost 8.25 due to pure carelessness... I had scored 5.75, these 8.25 could have got me a decent score... (i have not included my acceptable mistakes above...these were jus so dismal...that I had to put them up ...)
Then did 2 DI sets from AIMcat 720,
30 mins 8 attempts (2 marks each ) all right...
Did an hour of fundamentals with geometry ..mainly circles ...with Time material and a tg article on this topic.
Read the Hindu...then came to office..
Havent done my RC test..will do tonight...
Also BBLTians, the QQAD test 5 is out...when shall we all take it?

My schedule for today is to analyse 808, just finished with the QA part right nw, doing VA, DI at the end.
What ive realised:-
It was a good papaer, specially th quant. Definately wasnt a very tough one or the toughest AIMCAT yet, as we previously thought. I believe what we dont understand is, that when confrnted by a tough paper, our objective should be to get max accuracy, and eve doing a small amount of questions can easily clear the cutoff.
Seeing it now(having missed the Q cutoff by 1.25 marks, and the DI cutoff by 1 mark), i realise that the 30 mins in the end, when i got frustrated, and thought the paper was gone were so crucial, as i could have easily done a few questions i ddnt care to look at. If u see the quant paper, a 25 to 30 mark attempt is easily possible, if u do it properly. For the VA, until unless thre is differential marking, i will always go for attempting everything i read, and DI, well, i would say, the level weve reached, if we dont waste time on sets, and do as much as we can in the time alloted to it, we can clear the cutoffs.
Just realised all tgis in my analysis today. I was shocked to see i got a 94 %ile with my score yday, i was expectin 80. Just shows me thats its like a game, and uve got to keep fighting till the end to have a chance of winning it.
Im also waiting for the conference tonight, got a few doubts. So, what time is it? And can we make it on yahoo , ive never used GTalk.
If its a big problem though, no problem wth Gtalk too, ill download it.

Meanwhile took the AIMCAT at home today in the afternoon with great difficulty..quants and di both just could not do them with drowsiness.
Pathetic they were.
Did the english part ok despite that..Managed a score of 18 in 32 minutes.Had another 18 minutes to do the last passage  Relief after 5 in SimCAT2 but was not in a position to continue . Pretty satisfied with English but DI and QA look daunting....Please bear with me if I come up with dumb doubts this one time...

I really thank the BBLT team for welcoming me to its fold..
I started analysing the AIMCATS today, started off with 808 (considering it was one of my better performances) and then proceeded to the analysis of the first AIMCAT i had given this season (816)
Intend to be done with the analysis of all the mockcats by this weekend..
people coming online at 10 (in the office), would require me to stay here for quite some time, so tht might not be possible for today..but would share my inputs for the other conferences...
