The way I perceive this thread.. (well.. no more jokes, for a change )

It is of the have-nots, by the have-nots, for the have-nots.. not tht the contenders of this team dont have 'IT'.. just tht they are YET TO (but hope to eventually) translate potential to performance..

This thread shall work as a platform to discuss strategies and find solutions to niggling problems - but, focussing the have-nots as defined above.. the consistent performers are most welcome to be a part/fixture of this thread (not the team!) as CAT-ony aunts/un-kills..

The theme of BBLT - bare ur MBA entrance exams-related fears n weakness(es), and seek/discover solution(s) to overcome them.. in more number of cases, the problem appears bigger wen kept to oneself..

And finally, another perception of mine.. its not a great thing to be on this team.. rather, u r callin urself a buffoon if u seek to represent BBLT.. but maybe this form of self-afflicted 'disgrace' can ignite a fire in the belly to GO GET IT

I apply for this after reading buck_was's post.
Well lets see what goes in my favour to earn my seat here!

• Firstly I am still in college.No CAT experience at all.
• Enrolled myself for CAT@Home OF IMS long long back somewhere in August 2006. Yet to do anything from the BRM's.
• Took a couple of Mocks and got percentiles of 80+. Hit 90%ile in SimCAT 1.(So AimCAT I will be much lower down) Got my PART C from IMS a day back and it was then that I started counting the total no of Mocks /Full length tests I am supposed to solve in the coming 80 days.Roughly 35 to go. Dropped the idea of touching the BRM's anymore. I REALLY AM I IN NO MAN'S LAND.
• Verbal is my strength.DI is ok and Quants is weakness for now(PS: I am in Engineering!:mg) Its going to be only mocks and analysis and working on problem areas.
• Hopefully can transform the potential(got 83%ile in SimCAT 7 with 15 days to go for CAT 06) in me into something concrete.
• Besides I am applying only to TAPMI,Manipal besides the IIM's.

Seriously I think I can contribute a bit here..

The tradition of having teams on PG is no new.This one comes with a difference!!

The idea is not just to frame a team but to help each other through this phase
of studentship both precat and postcat(GD/PI Prep).

The team has got nothing to lose and only to gain.The belief to capitalize fully
on our potential is what drives us towards the DDay as the team BBLT.


The people who think that somehow at the moment they are not able to do
justice to their talents,for those whose peak time is about 80 days away,for
those who have confidence in their abilities,for those who are the real winners(loosers)
and most importantly fighters...

The team of Losers.....the ones who have got nothing to lose ..but loads of support
and brother-hood to cheer themselves successfully towards the dreams of their lives...

Well.

Losers... One thing no one would like to call himself/ herself. However, we still have puys fighting for a spot in BBLT.

I'll tell you why. Being called a loser reignites the passion in myself to perform better and the belief in myself that i'll finally peak on the C-Day, which matters the most. However, we being the losers would only have nothing to lose and absolutely everything to gain with no expectations from us.

This thread will be a serious discussion ground for all the team members (and anyone else who is interested) to discuss strategies, help out each other, motivate each other, and support each other. Best of all, we have a coach in a current B-school student who has been there and done all and who'll be present to guide us.

Heres for my contendership....

I have been in love with cat for far too long, admiring its beauty and revelling in its intellectuality, but never really finding myself in her arms. There were times when i thought she likes me too, like when she gave me a backward glance by providing me with 98.xxs thro the 04 season, but when it came time to finally confess my love for her and woo her with my talents I came down with the dreaded chicken-pox and cat04 ended with pathetic, 94.xx. "Thats so not working" she said ...sigh....two more weak and heartless attempts later... I have decided to win her once and for all..

For a couple of years I have been watching her smile at others. And I kno that one day she'll smile on me too, and in love more than anything else, its important not to lose heart untill she decides to rob it off you.

So here I am, silent for long enough (see my pg joining date) now singing my mandatory song of proposal ....

"....Come on baby...Dont say maybe....
I gotta know if your sweet love...is gonna save me.."


So what say guys....is this long time loser in?
