As can be seen, BBLT 2008 is missing. This could be partly because of the following. (Purely my perception):

1: BBLT members are not very active on PG. A statement I support partially. I for one, haven't seen many people from BBLT being active after joining their respective B-Schools. I guess they are all following the lifecycle of a typical person who registers himself/herself with PG - getting so immersed in your own education that you ignore what you gained from this place.
2: Not enough people wanting to join BBLT. Quite a number of people look down upon this team - considering us to be underperformers not worth discussing and providing a space.
3: PG HQ living upto the image of being pro - elite performers. A very far-fetched thinking I feel.
4: BBLT 2007 thread being called a ground for psycho-spamming. I don't think i need to elaborate this point.

Repositioning as they say may not be the answer to the issues faced here.

reading thru various posts and with the creation of the DT'08 and UDT '08

I feel its not just the BBLT'07 have just been inactive. I do see them here may be not so feverishly posting but they have been giving a helping hand. ALso as part of Non-BBLT .. BBLTian I do belive that BBLT as concept did surpass the circumferences and did involved lot more ppl where the same enthu reverberated.

about not joining BBLT . just one line open the thread and see the difference.. for rest its

as greenie pointed i do feel with the new concept of PGPL it did diluted everything.. focus attention..


whatever b the case BBLT concept in no way follow the concept of what other team threads has .. its mantra is so different and yet so common

I agree

Request the Stalwarts of BBLT 07 to PM to mods/ admins and tell them in now way BBLTians are behind DT / UDT ians

I am in no way a DT material, can apply to UDT but my heart goes out only for BBLT coz i can relate with the team, the team members and the purpoes for it was created.

Do something puys, please

PS: Greenie, do something for BBLTians as you did for DT and UDT

Guess the concept of PGPL was not "ok" with many old PG users (old here means users who were active during the 2007 and to some extend 2006 season) as they d grown up watching (or being a part of) DT/UDT 2006 and DT/UDT/BBLT 2007.

If its a DT, its like all the best brains are one 1 place and if a normal PG user is looking for some value during his prep phase, he can straight head to DT thread for "high-value" gyan...now, I am not saying that the PGPL threads lack this but as many had pointed out, it has got diluted...

BBLT 2008...

• I dont agree with Deep's points except for the first 1 (many old BBLT arent active these days)

• BBLT 2007 was formed with a bunch of under performers but at the end...some of us proved that we are as good as DT-UDT, some of us are still struggling to prove that point..but we havent given up

• NYeah, BBLT became a psycho-spamming place after CAT 07, but it means another thing...ppl were comfy to pour out their hearts in BBLT as many identified themselves with this concept...

Lets start the concept again...lets make ppl pitch in...Let us create history again..

Whats the next step? Should we have to ask the mods...?

I always thought the BBLT was a nice concept - a little underutilised, though. Some of us, can get psyched out by people who are always performing well, and have a consistent record. So, we need space of our own, to express our doubts, seek redressal, and keep pushing ourselves.

Last season, BBLTians showed that they don't lack the will or the skill to achieve. Yes, teams like DT and UDT are important, but then, so is BBLT.

And Deep, I think it's not just BBLTians who post less often, it is also the other b-schoolers. So, I guess it's not quite right to single them out.

Also, some people might look down upon BBLT, but so many others look upto it. Why deprive them of their motivation?

In addition, 'psycho-spamming' happens on many threads... does that mean we should do away with them?

I personally followed BBLT last year and needless to say the enthu levels and never say die attitude of the ppl there was awesome BBLT is a unique concept in its own way. It had amazing guys like buck_was, deep, hameed, obsessed_bout_mba, vineet, 666, mohit, pp etc., Though most of 'em aren't around, I am sure there are loads of puys among us who can match with them.

All I want to say is It was a huge success last year and I hope that we continue the tradition
