Hi All,

I had a thought while going thru Buck's and jove's post on the same page.

BBLT- new members??? New Posts?? Buck as a mentor ?? let the thread never die! ??

What can be all this??

Now since the concept of PPL has started(it's a great concept) and every major city has its own dream team and non-majors which are equally imp. have their own INDIA UNITED team.
Will anyone ever come forward to take the era of BBLT to a next level.?? or shall i might say that this thread is gonna die its own natural death!

BBLT- was proudly cheered and followed because of a simple plain reason!-

"At the deep down,every one of us has that fear,a fear of not doing well,a fear of not reaching dre where we want to"

Every body fell in line and was able to associate with the team because of the same.BBLT all this while showed how to play with that fear and come out on top.!!!

and beyond a shadow of doubt many did come out on top.!!!!

Last year it was sinister_cancer who showed the path and den BBLT was on its way to Glory.
this time i think another Mandevian(buck_was) can take this trend forward! and perhaps begin a new league!! Create another battle-ground in which camaradarie is at its peak.

BBLT shall rise thou!!

Since this is my 500th post, so it has to be a special one. I always feel to be a part of BBLT so posting the 500th here..

Today when I was going in a rickshaw the other rickshaw was in front of us.. To overtake the other one, this guy said " aray chalo bhai sarkar girne wali hai"

ten he started telling about all the things.. how is the govt faring.. hw the jharkhand has been revamped completely.. hw is this voting happening.. "sabko khareed liya gaya hai types".. dinner party organized by govt. and so many things which an ordinary man may not be knowing.. I was totally surprised and glad at his knowledge level.. I asked him " bhaiyya kya aap news dekhte ho".. ten he goes. " haan.. raat main ghar par TV hai usme dekhte hain"

this shows tat in a country like us the people are well aware of the political environment.. no one is big or small.. everyone has equal rights.. no matter wht strata of the society he comes from.. after all, he is an indian first..

so to serve the purpose of this thread, no matter whether u r intelligent or not, u've tat skills or not, u've good acads or not.. but if u've the detemination and confidence nothing is impossible... CAT is not the toughest exam.. but ppl make it by creating hypes.. if u've the will in you.. everything is possible.. and yeah CAT is not the end..

so give ur best and God will do the rest..

here I am on the road again,
Here I am upon the stage...........
Probably posting after 3-4 months,
my first "post" after joining B -school.
Well,it is sad that BBLT 08-09 is not going to be formed, but the spirit of BBLT will live in us forever and ever!!
I really agree to the words: "Once A BBLTIAN, always a BBLTIAN"
I miss those days,almost about a year back, when all of us used to meet online, discuss the mocks, discuss the strategy.. its all changed now.
The MBA is nothing as I had thought about it before, it's different, its madness yet its fun!!!
I remember getting tired after 7-8 hrs a day and 5 days a week of office hours, here we have to work inceasently.. i have been working for past 3 months, too busy to say "i am busy" and yet enjoying every second of grlling, every time we get quizzes, everytime we get a new assignment
A prof of ours says: Welcome, you chose to be here, we were laughing at you when you said holistic development in a B- school in the interview, now u can't crib about it, just enjoy it!!
All of my batchmates have seen my BBLT t- shirt, everyone liked it and now BBLT is quite famous!

We can still share our experiences here on this sacred thread!!!!

Nice to see old timers rejuvinating the old thread. I would second whatever jimmy already said.. Don't know why, But I seriously sometimes miss those idle CCD PG meets and cribbing all day for the HUGE work pressure. Now it seems, we never knew what pressure meant .. the real pressure is here ... Still its all fair in the name of the game... and more over, We asked for it.. We prayed to them.. "Oh please take us in and steam roll us" .. So they are not to blame in any ways

Home is where the heart lies...BBLT is where the fight is ....I havent posted in a long time....maybe 3-4 months...and i wanted it to be on bblt...for this is where i learnt the lessons that mattered....Now 1 term old in a b school i can claim that I am not any wiser than I was before, I am not in amy position to advice aspirants, hell If anyone asks me for gyan I might burst out laughing in his face....But as a bbltian I have lots of gyan to offer...To all aspirants, please do enjoy these prep days...they'll never come back...cry when u fail, make promises to urself, rejoice when things go well..go out for a maybe.... cheer others and let others cheer u up sometimes....and most importantly do not lose heart....its when all hope is lost that u need to mine deep within you for that residual optimism..hameed

Well, my first term is approaching its finish line fast with the end terms starting from tomorrow…but, I’m not posting here to make you guys read another tell-it-all b-school experience…that part can wait…rather, I’m here to share a thought that just occurred to me…
In the past few months, we all have been reading cases about numerous companies across the world facing challenging situations and then either coming out of it more strongly or going bust! We have analyzed such affairs, shared opinions on them and proposed solutions to a few as well. Moreover, I assume that you all concur with me when I say that we have one similar challenge right in front of us.
I believe that ‘Bol Bachchan Losers Team’ is facing a testing situation…You will agree that many have even forgotten the concept that took PG by surprise last year with its popularity and camaraderie…It was us who ideated the team…It was us who propagated the notion…It was us who spread it across…and It would be the same ‘us’ who would see it going to death…
With PG changing the team structure at the start of this season, we haven’t found a place there…neither have we evolved into some other form …and honestly, I perceive that if nothing is done shortly, BBLT that had set out to make history, will itself become a part of it…thus, I strongly believe that we need to come up with new plans/strategies to revamp our concept…There are reasons aplenty why BBLT shouldn’t sink and even if it has to, let’s not go down without a fight…
I request everyone associated with this team to come forward and provide his/her input on the same.

well I completely agree with u.. BBLT has lost its charm.. last year the team which changed the whole scenario, worked wonders has no place this year we all should bring forth ideas to revive this format which gained popularity last year..

the first thing I would suggest is to keep the thread alive.. people here should keep on giving valuable inputs all the time.. so all BBLTians plz come forward and make it a success.

Puys and my teammates may have wondered as to why i hadn't posted on this thread since a long time. I was waiting precisely for the kind of reaction PG had to the proposal of creation of UDT and DT of 2008.

As can be seen, BBLT 2008 is missing. This could be partly because of the following. (Purely my perception):

1: BBLT members are not very active on PG. A statement I support partially. I for one, haven't seen many people from BBLT being active after joining their respective B-Schools. I guess they are all following the lifecycle of a typical person who registers himself/herself with PG - getting so immersed in your own education that you ignore what you gained from this place.
2: Not enough people wanting to join BBLT. Quite a number of people look down upon this team - considering us to be underperformers not worth discussing and providing a space.
3: PG HQ living upto the image of being pro - elite performers. A very far-fetched thinking I feel.
4: BBLT 2007 thread being called a ground for psycho-spamming. I don't think i need to elaborate this point.

Repositioning as they say may not be the answer to the issues faced here.
