first of all,my heratiest congratulations to all BBLTians who got through(hey,diablo,congrats man )u have been very helpful to many people across threads(many times asking them not to spam,like may be i am doing right now )......
i have been following this thread for quite sometime(though not posting much!!!!!!!!!) and it has been an enriching experience just seeing the various posts...

i have got offer from kj and imi...but dont know where to go...

Though I am not a member if the BBLT thread but since I followed this thread so closely and have made a couple of wonderful friends (aka Deep, Hammed and all), I take the pleasure in sharing my happiness with the people around... After all the anxious moments of WL movements, I have finally made it to NMIMS.. It was a great pleasure walking the path wth you guys.. The moments of joys, the pearls of wisdom and the support extended was really remarkable.... I would like to extend the heartfelt thanks towards one and all for making this an memorable journey..
Congos to all who have made it to their dream colleges this year...
And All the Best to those who have their target locked on CAT 08...

Packing for the next 1.75 yrs - possibly the last time that I am a full-time student..

It is the end of one journey (though, I aint saying that I wont be with BBLT, come next season - in a different role), and the beginning of another..

Hi all,

Nice to see so many converts and successes. All the best to those who made it. It does not matter which B school we made it to. What matters is how we find our paths in life over the next 1 or 2 yrs.
I hope the experience in the B schools enble us all to soak, sprout and Blossom!
And all those who could not make it, and to all 'new' BBLTians, we are always there. We do understand that failure often takes us to a very lonely zone in life. In that darkness when you look around for solace you will find BBLT and its shoulder to cry, to weep, to vent out emotions.... We need each other more during failures than otherwise. Let us keep in touch with this thread and do our bit.........

long time since a post was made on my favourite thread and here i am writing this,not just because I cant forego such an opportunity to spam
but also because I think I owe this post to the team and the thread


friends, as u know, I have been taking quite sometime to make a choice between MDI PGPM and JBIMS..but what I had never foreseen was that the last date for fee withdrawl at MDI would be even before the final result of JBIMS would be declared

At a juncture when choices need to be made, I think it comes down to the reason for doing an MBA..for some it could be the placements, excellent infrastructure/faculty, peer group...for me the primary reason was always the leverage that those 2 years would provide(far away from a hectic world) to do something I would enjoy to do..
MDI is undoubtedly an excellent b-school with outstanding students and an envious growth record. That ways, Bombay is certainly the land of oppurtunities be it writing/scripting/entertainment or even starting up a small venture.


It took me about a million years(ok..i exaggerate sometimes) to come up with a decision of chosing JBIMS over MDI..but what I had hardly ever thought of was that I would be prompted to take this decision even before I have a JBIMS convert(JBIMS has 80% weightage for the written test and I had scored quite well there)..but then that was how it was to be- a bird in hand (MDI) or the one in the bush (JBIMS).

Having decided to leave MDI for JB at the risk of CAT 08, this can be called a very grave decision..I know I mite not make it to JB and then be made to pin all my hopes on CAT 08.....but yeah, CAT08 and an another year in the waiting is risky business certainly..but what I also know that in the case of me depending on CAT again, I wouldnt be alone...I would have my entire team backing me up and wishing the best for me!!

People say that in dicey circumstances such as these one should leave your desicion to the heart (curse me for coming up wid such a cheesy line..have been watching a lot hindi flicks lately) and my heart has decided to wait for the JB results and I think the kind of bonding I have witnessed on PG and this thread is one of the major reason for the same.

hey after a long wait... I have finally made it to IIFt... But I have decided to go ahead and join NMIMS... donno why.. but Mumbhaii is calling....

But at the end of the day frnds it feels great that your effort paid up.. not wothstanding that the good news was a tad late in arrival ....

I guess the B-school season's start has sucked up the life from BBLT thread...so many days without any posts in this thread !!!!
I have been out of this thread ( and whole of PG ) for quite sometime..got busy with my joining XIMB and all related stuffs...
Nyways let me post my past few weeks experiences in the B-School ..and i wanted it to be posted here first..in BBLT...

woke up from a deep deep sleep and found myself in the lush green campus of XIMB...a beautiful campus i should say...fell in love with the place from the very moment I landed here...
As for the classes,it has been going on (and on and on....)for the last one month...hectic at times...but amazing faculties I should say....simply superb....totally different from the usual classroom environment which i have experienced till now...and of course,cannot forget to mention the surprise quizzes which throws an equally surprise results on ur face...
Now comes the most interesting part... Parties...in XIMB we affectionately call it as JLTs(Just Like thats)...Its something that u cannot put in words...
U can never feel the spirit until u see the enthu & passion with which so many ppl drink and dance thru out the nite....for hours together...
Looking back on my decision to join XIMB - I actually took much time to convince myself to give up the cozy job(???) in Cognizant, leave my gf in
chennai and come to Bhubaneswar...but now...now I realise that if I had chosen not to come, I would have missed some of the best things which no other place on earth could have shown me...ever....
When i take a u-turn and look back at my last year's slogging, I am definitely so happy in being able to make it to one of top B-schools...and the next sentence is so obvious...The whole credit for my success & happiness goes to BBLT and my favourite BBLT brothers.....
will come up with lot more stories soooonnnn...


PS: I didn't c any posts on their B-school experiences by hameed, Diablo, Buck and others.... Waiting to hear from u...
